Fifty Two

"With milk or without?" Jhoana asked.

"Without." Bea answered.

Jhoana nodded and immediately prepared the other's choco.

"Bacon or cheese?" Bea asked while preparing a sandwich for their breakfast.

"Hm, both." Jho grinned.

Bea chuckled. "Ketsup or mayonnaise?"

"Ketsup, heart."

Heart.

"I heart you!" A kid from the teleserye they are watching said.

Bea put her arm around Jho and kissed the  top of latter's head. "I heart you."

Jho looked at Bea, preventing herself to laugh. "Cute mo."

Bea shook her head. "Alam mo, hindi na ako maglalambing sa'yo. Panira ka eh. Nawawalan ako ng self confidence."

Jho laughed. "Di ah, sinasabi ko lang na ang cute cute mo kapag nagiging cheesy ka. Corni pero nakakainlove pa rin."

"Hay nako." Bea pinched Jho's nose. "Mabuti na lang I heart you."

They laughed.

"Corni nga. " Bea said.

"Pero nakakainlove pa rin."

Bea bit her lip to prevent herslef from smiling more. "Asus, heart heart."

Jho stared at Bea's eyes. "Heart."

Bea smiled knowingly. "That's a cute one."

The other smiled. "I heart you, heart."

"Heart, dagdagan ko ng egg?" Bea asked.

Jho, who's preparing Bea's oatmeal, nodded. "Yes, please."

Mika was just watching the two prepare each other's meal. She finds it weird na kailangan pang yung isa ang gagawa ng kakainin ng isa.

But well if that makes the two happy so why stop them? She can deal with the weirdness if it what it takes to see the genuine smiles of her friends.

"Ehem." Mika faked a cough kaya napatingin sakanya si Bea at Jho.

"Wala man lang bang magtatanong kung anong gusto ko? O gagawa ng breakfast ko?"

Nagkatinginan yung dalawa.

"Wala."

"Bahala ka sa buhay mo."

The two answered and continued what they're doing.

"Sama niyo!" Reklamo ni Mika.

"Is this what I get for being a good housemate?" Dagdag pa niya.

Natawa lang naman ang dalawa.

"Sa sala na nga ako natutulog eh para solo niyo ang kwarto sa taas. Free kayong maglalandian."

"Um, Miks, sa sofa ka naman natutulog dati pa." Bea corrected.

"Hoy, noon kaya tabi tayo! Diba, pinipilit ko pa nga na sa sala na lang ako pero ikaw.."

Bea cut her off. "Gusto mo bang mabuhusan ng kape? May hawak si Jho na dalawang cup ng mainit na tubig."

Mika looked at Jho, who's just smiling. "But that's all in the past, Jho. What matters is you and Bea. Love love love."

Jho chuckled. "It's ok." Piningot naman niya ang tenga ni Bea.

"Alam ko namang sadyang malandi 'tong isang 'to." She added.

"Aray naman, heart." Reklamo ni Bea.

"Hindi naman ako malandi ah." Depensa niya habang hinahagod ang tenga niyang piningot ni Jho.
