I S A B E L

During sundays, I go home to my parents' house to visit and bond with them. Pero ngayon I decided to go home even if it's just a saturday. We have no training naman kasi and I don't have a class.

"Good morning, Fam!" I greeted as I entered the house.

I saw them on our dining place. Mukhang they're still having their breakfast.

"Bea!!" My mom shouted. This is the scenario everytime I go home. Mom and dad with all smiles and welcoming me with a hug. A scenario that I always look forward to.

"Hi, mom." I said and hugged her.

"I missed you, anak." She said.

"Oh, napauwi ka. It's only saturday." Tumayo si dad at lumapit sa'kin para yakapin ako.

"Parang ayaw mo naman akong andito, dad." I said as I faced him and pouted.

My parents chuckled.

"Hay nako, gustong gusto ko nga na dito ka na lang kaso mapilit ka namang mag-dorm." Dad pinched my cheeks when he said that and went back to his chair.

"Oo nga, we miss our makulit Isabel around the house, you know." Mom chipped in.

"Kumain ka na ba?" She added.

"I already ate, mom." I said bago ko sila nilapitan at niyakap ulit. "Hay nako, my parents are making drama again. I always visit you naman during sundays tapos everyday naman tayong nagtetext. I miss you din naman so much pero I just want to be indepedent, masyado niyo akong binebaby eh."

They both looked at me as if saying they're innocent with what I'm saying.

"Oh, wag na magdeny." Humiwalay na ako sa yakap at umupo sa tabi ni mom.

"Kapag andito ako, masyado akong naispoil kaya tuloy I don't know a thing sa mga gawaing bahay." I continued.

"I taught you how to cook kaya!" Mom argued. "And you're a great cook na!"

"And you know how to fix your room naman ah." Dad said.

"Oh, you both are being defensive. Guys, I do appreciate everything that you do for me. God knows how I enjoy being your baby, it's just that I need to grow too. On my own." I explained and they smiled as if they're satisfied with my answer.

"Another explaining session nanaman ba?" Napatingin kaming tatlo to where the voice came from.

"Kuyaaaa!" I immediately stand up and enveloped him with a hug. "You're home, too. You have no mission?" I whispered the last sentence.

"Kakatapos lang." He whispered back at ginulo ang buhok ko.

"Doing good, Bey?" He asked.

"Yep." I smiled at him.

"We have to talk." He whispered and I nodded.

"We'll just catch up mom and dad!" Hinila naman ako ni kuya papunta sa kwarto niya.

When we reached his room and have settled in, he looked at me in straight face.

"So, you arrested Nico."

"Yes, I did. You know what, we're having a hard time with him. He's an agent pala and then-"

"I know." He said.

"You know him?" Napatingin naman siya sa phone niya, mukhang may hinahanap.

"Ahuh, there was a mission were my team had encountered him. We were protecting a client from someone na pinprotektahan din pala ni Nico." Kuya gave me his phone at nakita ko ang isang report about sa mission niyang iyon.
