Fourty Eight

Mika was just on time for her appointment. Luckily, her contact decided to meet her at a resto near Bea's cube kaya kahit late siyang nagising ay on time siyang nakarating sa appointment niya.

"Hi." Mika lend her hand to the person who is on her UST jacket, just like how her contact described herself in her text.

"Mika." The other person acknowledged.

Mika just smiled and sat on the seat infront of her.

"I already ordered. I hope you don't mind." The other said.

"No, it's ok. Kanina ka pa ba dito.." Mika stopped. "What should I call you? EJ? Ms. Laure?"

"EJ will be okay." EJ smiled.

"So.. what information do you have for me?" Mika asked.

EJ smirked. She looked at the two people outside the resto, who are on diguise.

"Bakit hindi na lang bumalik dito sa dorm si Bea? Lagi din lang naman siya dito natutulog." Jia said.

"Hindi lang tulog. Kain, ligo. Ginawa na niyang bahay 'to. Ano 'to? Free transient? With free meal?" She added.

Kagagaling lang nila ni Jho sa kanilang morning training at nadatnan nilang tulog pa si Bea.

"Shh. Ingay mo. Kapag 'yang baby ko nagising.." Jho warned.

Jia rolled her eyes. "Makasabi ng baby ko, ikaw umire?"

Jhoana faked a laugh.

"Totoo nga! Ano, magjowa kayo na hindi kayo mapaghiwalay?" Jia argued.

"Shhhh." Jho put her finger in front of Jia's lips.

Bea started to stir.

"Ayan ayan nagigising na." Pinitik naman ni Jho ang noo ni Jia.

Jia looked at Bea. "OA mo. Malalim tulog niyan. Mas nauna pa akong umakyat kagabi kaya for sure puyat yan."

"Oh? Napalalim ata usapan niyo kagabi ah. Mukhang dapat na talaga akong magselos sa inyong dalawa." Sabi naman ni Jho, who even crossed her arms.

"Isa pang asar niyo sakin.." Jia warned.

"Ano?" Jho challenged.

"Maasar na ako."

Jho laughed and sat on her table. "So, anong pinagusapan niyo?"

Jia chuckled. "Inlove na inlove sa'yo infernes."

Jho smiled like a child. "Talaga? Paano mo nasabi?"

"Anong alam ni tita Lovel sa mga nangyari?" Bea asked Jia.

Just like the first time she met Jho's family, Bea's being paranoid, nervous and all kaya naman she's asking Jia lalo na't she'll be meeting Jho's fam again at Jaja's party.

"Yung parang kay Jaja rin. Na may hindi kayo napagkaintindihan kaya ayun parang nagbreak kayo kahit di naman kayo." Jia rolled her eyes.

"Galit ba sakin si tita?"

"Bat hindi mo tinanong kay Jaja?"

"Too awkward to ask." Simpleng sagot ni Bea.

Jia looked at Bea intently. "Medyo. Siyempre, hindi niya alam yung buong kwento at nanay pa rin naman siya. She saw how hurt Jho was."

Bea sighed.

"Pero kilala mo naman si tita. You just got to earn her trust again. Prove her that you deserve Jho."

"Looks like I got a lot of work to do, huh. I'm back on square one." Bea said.

Jia pat Bea's shoulders. "No, hindi naman ganoon. You just got to earn what you've earned."
