Chapter 2:Ship Sailing

"Xanlee!" I heard and I turned around to see my old friend Zachery "Screw you!" I said crossing my arms acting mad at him "Don't deny it you like her" he said "I swear to God if only punching you doesn't make me get suspended I will do it!" I said "Anyways what are you looking for?" he said "The french club" I said "You wanna join a french club?" he said "No I didn't even know we had one" I said "You didn't know that the club I made existed?" he said "You made the club?!" I said surprised but what he said "Yeah" he said "The hell why didn't you tell me?" I said "I did" he said "When?" I said "When you were sleeping.." he said but he trailed off at the end "I was freaking sleeping how the hell could I hear you!" I said shaking him "Yeah yeah I get it!" he said as I let go of him "Jeezus your grip got a lot more stronger" he said "Really?" I said "Yeah" he said "Anyways what club are ya gonna join" he said "Its mandatory to join a club?" I said "No but the lessons are getting harder so you need to get that extra points from a club or two" he said "I mean there's lots of clubs so you gotta really jo-" I cut him off by shouting the club I want to join by accident "Writing Club!" I said "That doesn't exist" he said "If you want a club that has writing involved you should try maybe being in the school magazine thats gonna start this year" he said "Damn you really know your clubs" I said "Yeah well I AM the new president for the school council" he said "Jeez you really dropping all these surprises on me" I said "Actually I didn't want to win but my God so many people voted" he said "Just tell me once your ready to join and Ill add you in the list for the auditions" he said "Auditions?" I said "Yeah well we aren't gonna let you in that easily so you need to submit your piece to us and we will see if you have the stuff for the school magazine" he said "Aight sign me up" I said "Ok so give me your piece in three days and it can be about anything" he said "Anything?" I said "Even love" he said as he left "Love...." I thought as I went up to our classroom as the bell rang "Admit it" Anne said leaving my place "I don't..." Xandra said sitting down ending their conversation "What did you guys talk about?" I said sitting on my seat "It doesn't really concern you" she said "Oh.....okay" I said as I took the current subject's book and as soon as the teacher came in lots of girls started squealing "OMG SIR YOU'RE SO HANDSOME TODAY" one girl screamed "Ok settle down class" he said calming everyone "What the hell.." I said "Ok so you are new and haven't met me yet my name is Javier Randi and I'm your Math teacher" he said "First up what's Math to you?" he said.I rose my hand and he called me and I answered his question "A hard subject" I said and I got a laugh from the class "That...is true.I must admit sometimes I get confused too reading the formulas from the book" he said smiling.Another student rose their hand and it was Zachery "For me Math, specifically fractions is like love.You guys are separated but somehow you still connect" he said "That sounds like a love quote" Javier said "May I borrow that and post it on Facebook?" he said and he got a laugh from the class and Zachery nodded  "Aight so what should we do for the first day?" he said and a female student rose her hand and said "Maybe make a love quote" "Sure but let's not call it a love quote as that sounds strange..maybe Quote Of Cupid" he said and everyone agreed with him "So make a Quote of Cupid that involves Math" he said and we all took a piece of paper and started thinking our quote "Math is like love you have a 3.14 chance for your crush to answer you" I thought to myself "Nah too long...Math is hard to understand just like love...too simple" I thought to myself as I started biting my pencil "Me minus You equals a fraction of my heart gone...perfect!" I thought to myself writing down my quote "Damnit!" I heard Xandra say "Problem?" I said "I just can't think of a good quote" she said "You could do....Math is like love it takes understanding to solve the problem" I said giving her a quote "Thanks but I can't use it" she said "It's against my conscience" she added "Rephrase it then" I said "Fine but I owe you one" she said writing down the quote I gave her but rephrased.Before the bell rang sir collected all the papers and he looked at Xandra's first "Wonder who is this directed to" he said before leaving "Xanlee!" Zachery said "Shut up!" I said letting the words slip out "Ok!" he said actually closing his mouth "Admit it you guys are close!" I heard Anne saying that "If only I could swear out loud" I thought to myself "I don't like her!" I said to Anne and everyone started doing that heart symbol with their hands "Can you guys just like stop that shi-" I almost swore but if didn't our next teacher came I would be in big trouble "Morning Class" she said placing her stuff on the teachers table "My name is Angela Santo and I'm your HELE teacher" she said "So I wanna get to know you guys so can you tell me your names starting from you" she said pointing at the first student in my row and we all said our names and the day went simple as hell but I needed to write a piece for me to get accepted in the school magazine.

At My House
"What should my piece about?" I said walking back and forth "Hate?" I said "Too hard..maybe school?" I said "Arghh I have nothing!" I said falling on my bed "Should I procrastinate?I'm gonna procrastinate aren't I?I'm gonna procrastinate" I said standing up "I'm just gonna need inspiration tomorrow" I said getting my empty paper "Or else I'm dead"
