Chapter 25:Zodiac

After hundreds of practices and script changes we finally mastered the play and the final practice has ended and Zachery and Lin told something before we all go."Look we're sorry for being a bit hard on you guys when practicing but we had to do it because ya'know we want it to be perfect and for us to actually win" Zachery said "I mean you do understand us right?Money is on the line and this money can be used for our upcoming projects like the English Festival Part 2 that we promised to the students" Lin said "Anyways hope you guys can have a great day and for tomorrow let's shake the crowd with our performance what do you guys say?" Zachery said "Yeah!" we all said and we all left and Xandra and I started walking back to our places together."Crap I almost forgot to show you something" Xandra said "Can we take a little detour?" she said "Why?" I said "Just trust me" she said "Sure why not?" I said a little bit skeptical of where she's bringing me too as she grabbed my arm and practically dragged me like a red cart "No no no I am not gonna go there" I said as she and I stopped in front of the entrance of a tall building "Come on,we played here before it's fine" she said going in "I'm staying out here and whatever you do I am not gonna go in" I said "Fine,guess you won't see the gift I'm gonna give you and you can't top it" she said and I growled and went in "Now follow me" she said in a happy mood so I didn't wanna ruin it.She swiped a keycard on the elevator and we went up and when the elevator doors opened she covered my eyes."Seriously" I said seeing nothing "Trust me" she said and I walked forward a little bit and she told me to stop "Ta-da!" she said as she uncovered my eyes "Wow...a white sheet" I said "Oh that ruined the moment" she said looking at the white sheet "Hey its cool I like it how the white sheet is really big" I said as she walked towards the white sheet "Again let me do it again...Ta-da!!!" she said and the white sheet revealed a beautiful painting "Wow..:" I said looking at it "Not to toot my own horn but it is beautiful isn't it?" she said "Yeah it is" I said.The painting was two one winged people sitting together with their backs turned to the viewer with the quote at the bottom written in a fancy font saying "Two one winged people who love each other are better than one bird or one angel"."The quote sucks doesn't it" she said "It's good though" I said "Not at the level of your Quote of Cupid" she said smiling "You still remember it?" I said "Yeah" she said as she walked to another painting and this time it was the one she drew for the contest "You can place these in an art museum" I said "They won't accept it" she said "They will,trust me" I said "Fine..I don't know anyone that works for an art museum so I still can't place it on the art museum nearby" she said "Argh,nevermind" I said as she pressed the button on the elevator calling it back "So the poster thing you already have it right?" I said "Yup" she said and she and I went into the elevator and went down "Anyways sorry for dragging you to my studio" she said as she and I started walking back to our houses "It's fine besides it was nice seeing your paintings" I said "Well...do you think it's really nice?" she said "Yeah their really nice" I said "Thanks I guess it means a lot coming from you" she said "What does that mean?" I said "Well you're not that kind of person that likes everything" she said "Why do you say that?" I said crossing my arms and stopping to look at her "You just generally hate everything and when you say something is nice it kinda feels like it comes from your heart...I'm probably saying gibberish to you sorry" she said "No no no no it kinda makes sense and you do have a point" I said "Anyways we should probably practice more our lines so I might drop by at your house to practice our lines" she said and a few minutes of walking we waved at each other goodbye and we went to our houses.

I went upstairs and fell on my bed and quickly fell asleep after the practice we had that lasted until 12 in the afternoon.My phone buzzed waking me up and it was Xandra calling "Hello?" I said "Can I come in for the practice for our scenes?" Xandra said over the phone "Yeah yeah yeah but let me get fixed up first" I said "Why what happened?" she said "I just woke up so my hair is a bit messy so let me fix it" I said and I ended the call and fixed my hair and after a few went downstairs and opened the door for Xandra "Took you long" she said "Shut up" I said smiling and she went in and I closed the door "No script?" I said "No script and let's get into character as in speak like them and act like them" she said and I agreed and the practice between us has begun.

One Hour Later
"What time is it?" I said "2:00 in the afternoon" Xandra said "Sorry for disturbing your sleep" she said sitting down "Nah it's fine.You want any drink or something?" I said "No..." she said "Actually can I borrow one of your books" she said "Sure?" I said walking over to my cabinet of books "What do you want to read?" I said "Maybe this" she said getting a book.The book she took was titled "Lost" not the tv show but something different "Lost in a world that doesn't exist" she said reading the quote at the front "Good book" I said closing the cabinet and I sat there as she read the book and after a while she shut the book in a manner that she was mad and startled me "Jesus" I said "Here have it back" she said "Did you even finish it?" I said as she handed me the book "No and I don't want to 'cause it's giving me the feels" she said and I stood up and placed the book back in the cabinet "Feels?" I said "The plot feels like it was actually a real story" she said "Well maybe it is" I said and silence filled the room and I was about to speak but Xandra started and I didn't want to interrupt her "What Zodiac are you?" she said "Whats a Zodiac?" I said and she was shocked "Yeah know your Zodiac Sign" she said "Not a clue" I said and she handed me her phone "Find your birthday and tell me your Zodiac" she said "I am a Capricorn" I said handing her back her phone "So that means we're compatible according to Zodiac Signs" she said "You're a Virgo yeah 'cause your birthday is September 5 a few days before school starts" I said "Yup" she said and her phone rang "Guessing you have to go?" I said "Yeah I have too,see you tomorrow?" she said "Of course it's the play" I said and I got up and escorted her outside and waved her goodbye.
