The Day of The Play
All of us were nervous as after the group on the stage we were next and especially how there were more than a hundred people watching us.
"Everything would be alright...right?" Xandra said sounding nervous "I mean its only a few hundred people so its no big deal yeah?"
"Don't worry its just a 30 minute play in front of a couple hundred of people" I said trying to calm her down "Just chill out and read the script again so you don't fumble"
"Not fumbling is literally impossible for me Lee!" She said shouting a bit with a tone that mixes anger and nervousness in a strange fashion "I should.... probably j-j-just chill out" she said calming down and sitting down.
"*gasp* Did you just use the word chill?" I said legitimately shocked but trying to sound a bit annoying "I thought you didn't have it in your vocabulary?"
"Shut up" she said sounding annoyed yet she smiled trying to cover it with her hair as she crossed her arms.
"I can still see it you know?" I said pointing out how bad she was trying to hide her smile.
"Screw you" she said sounding menacing that kinda bit made we wanna bolt for it when suddenly she just started grinning and after a while laughed and I laughed too with her.Once we got our laughing under control and it has subsided Xandra opened up another conversation,unfortunately it was short-lived.
"Thanks for helping me calm down a bit" She said "Do you really think this play will go successfully?"
"No problem" I said "And uhh maybe the play will go successfully even though we had several script changes and character names were changed I'm pretty much sure the infinite number of practices we had should cover that stuff a lot"
She smirked a bit "Really?Infinite number?" She said "Tad bit over-exaggerated don't cha think?"
"Maybe" I said and the audience has started clapping and it was a cue(well for us anyways) that it was our turn to show the audience our play.
"Good luck" one of the members of the last group said extending his arm which in return I extended mine and we shook each others hand.
"Thanks" I said and I followed Xandra and the others onstage.We all bowed as the audience clapped and in the people at the stands only for rich people or people that actually spend money for good seats I saw Domino looking at us smirking with her laptop(which was barely visible in my angle) opened and her waiting to jolt down all of the stuff that happened in our play and use it for her book.
The narrator started with the usual "once a upon a time" introduction and officially the play had begun.The people that weren't in the current scene already set up the backdrop for the current scene which was a nature themed backdrop with a path on the ground.
AN:Btw I'm gonna be using their stage names(the characters) for easier writing so here is the character names.
