Chapter 18:Hideaway

The day started with my usual routine and soon I got on the bus."Hey you not sick anymore?" I said "Yeah" Xandra said "Guess the strange weather got to me" she said "It might've" I said "Anyways did you study for the 5 exams today?" I said "Yeah it's strange that they did that instead of giving us the minor exams first on a normal school week then give us the major on Sunday,Monday and Tuesday" she said "Maybe they wanted to try something out as most of the first quarter we're holidays" I said "So that's why the rushed the studying" I said "True" she said "So....why did you keep it in all honesty" I said "Well....I kept as a remembrance of the time we went to my hometown and you said you could've left at the next quarter and yeah" she said "Oh right" I said "Again thank you for this and thank you for helping me yesterday.Almost feels like whenever its that time of year I somehow get sick out of nowhere or a problem arises that affects me" she said "Maybe history just likes repeating itself" I said "Maybe" she said "Isn't it like supposed to be summer or something?" she said "Mm yeah" I said "Open your window" she said and I followed her and a cold wind entered and I shivered "Lord thats cold" I said closing it and rubbing my hands together to gather the heat back "What a freak weather" she said "Almost feels like this country just went into Canada's temperature or something" I said "Canada's temperature..." she said smiling "How do you even know if it's Canadian temperature?" she said "Umm..." I said trying to think of something "Got cha speechless again" she said "I'm not just give me a few" I said "3 minutes" she said as she started a timer on her phone "What can I say?Umm well I've been to Canada once?Nope wouldn't work she knows me too well.Shit what should I say!" "One minute left" she said "Agh I should just give up" "Fine I can't say anything" I said "I always win in our arguments" she said "Yeah yeah" I said "I'll study for a few minutes" I said "Wow you actually studying I've never heard that before" she said "I study...sometimes....if I'm bored" I said "Am I not able to cure your boredom?" she said "No it's just that I...uh..." I said "It's fine I don't really care if I can't cure your boredom" she said "Oh alright" I said as I took my History book and started reading while listening to music.

After an hour or so we got to school and I was still reading the History book "Wow you're really fascinated on that whole chapter aren't you?" Xandra said "Well duh who doesn't wanna know how the British burned down the white house" I said turning off my music but still holding my book to read "Did they actually?" Xandra said "You didn't read it?" I said "I didn't really have time to" she said standing up "Here read it" I said giving her the book before I took my bag and stood up "Huh didn't know this" she said going down and I followed behind her being the last one to go down and of course closing the door."The British did a damn well good job" she said "But they still got forced out of Washington" I said "Anyways I'll start the radio station come down once you're ready or I'll just text you" I said while we were entering the school "I'll go with you" she said "Aight" I said "Start it once you come and there's another request,GRRRLS by AViVA" I said reading the note "Hmm Ill check if we have it" she said opening door as I took the note off "Close it" she said going in and seating on her chair as I followed her instruction and closed the door "Do we have it?" I said "Yeah" she said "You start the introduction and please don't make it so formal" she said teasing me about yesterday "Ill try" I said as I placed my headsets on and unmuted my mic "Another day and another exams to do.Good morning guys,we've got another request and it's called GRRRLS by AViVA.Enjoy listening guys!" I said and Xandra placed on her headsets and unmuted her mic "And good luck to all for the exams today" she said as she started placing the music and I raised the volume up a little as the song itself is a bit quiet.Xandra and I muted our mics and removed our headsets and sat on the couch "Mate there's no constellations here in the room" Xandra said as she caught me staring at nothing "No it's just I'm not sure about the words I used" I said "Why are you even caring about that?" she said "I don't know maybe I want the radio station thing to go right and especially when ya know the whole school is listening" I said "You have a plan don't you?" she said "Well I do...how did you know?" I said "I learned a thing or two whenever you plan on something" she said "And that is?" I said "You start acting like your worried about every single detail or every single thing" she said "So what's your plan" she said "Well I'm making a poem and such but it's rather hard as I'm making it about emotions and such according to Zachery" I said "So what kind of emotion would you base it on if you can pick" she said "I'm not sure I can pick but I'll ask Zachery right now" I said standing up "Aight I'll wait for you and help you make your poem" she said "Why?" I said "I feel like I owe you 'cause of yesterday" she said "You were sick that's like saying you have to pay a doctor when he helped you" I said "Don't you have to?" she said and I thought about what I said "Oh...Fine I'll let you help then" I said "Now go" she said as she picked up the book she was reading yesterday before I left.
