Chapter 21:The English Club

I walked out the door and closed it and locked it "Ya I'll be there just wait" I said over the phone to Zachery "Aight Lee just hurry up" he said and I started running to Xandra's house while trying to play music "Damnit!" I said as my earphones fell and I stopped for a moment to play music and get my earphones and put them on and started running once again "There!" I said seeing Xandra's house and I started bolting for it "What I'd miss?!" I said opening the door "Finally" Ava said "You missed nothing" Xandra said "Now take a seat" Zachery said "Aight" I said sitting down at the chair next to Xandra "So today we're gonna talk about the radio station....sadly....it's...." Zachery said and I tapping my phone furiously waiting for him to continue "Going to get new gear but it's not gonna be on air for 4 days which sucks" he said and the tapping stopped and I sighed for a moment "Thought you were going to say it was gonna end" I said "Gotcha on the edge didn't I?" he said "Yes!" I said and the members that were present laughed "The radio station actually went really well and maybe at the next school year you guys might become the dj's once again as the poll we made last week has shown that most of the school likes your chemistry" he said "Chemistry huh?" Xandra mumbled to herself but I still heard making me look at her "Well I guess we're just good public speakers eh?" I said at Xandra "Yeah" she said "Anyways the plans for the renovation and addition of new whiteboards that have the sliding tablet thing is going pretty well and for the whiteboard that has the tablet we already have more than half the money we need in total to buy them for the high school department" he said "I suggest the next project we're gonna have that is a cooperation with the English club that is the play that's gonna be shown at the theater for the annual competition that has a prize or $10000 enough for the plans of the English club and for our plans" he added giving us the flyer for the theater competition "That's a lot" Tristan said "Yeah.." Ava said "Thank you Lee for convincing the English club to make us join them" Xandra said "Your welcome" I said "Our roles are still yet to be assigned but in the next week we're gonna know our roles and practice the play to guarantee us that 10k" I said "Actually..." Zachery said and suddenly the doorbell rang "Jeez they were late" Xandra said and she opened the door "Oh hey!" I said greeting the English club members "Come in" Xandra said and I finally figured out why there were extra chairs "So I'm guessing you already know who they are" Zachery said "But if you don't know yet I'll tell you.Their president is Lin" he said "Hello" Lin said "Can I do the introduction Zachery?" she said "Sure go ahead" Zachery said "Ok so we are the English club and yeah.Our members are Enzo,Dominic,Mateo,Ares,Luca" she said and five boys from the other section of our grade stepped forward "We also have Jana,Sofi,Gerrie,Venice, and Claire" she said and from the 5 girls I only knew one,Gerrie "So guessing we are gonna work together and get that prize" Xandra said "Exactly" Lin said "Our play is going to of course be romantic as the genre given to us is romance" Zachery said "Let's start with the positions shall we?" Lin said "Yeah" Zachery agreed and all of us was given a piece of paper that states our role "Zorro" I said reading the paper "Angel" Gerrie said "Lina" Xandra said "Seems like our protagonists is Lee, Gerrie and Xandra" Zachery said "Apparently so" Lin said "Ok now we're going to give you guys the script that Lee gave us" Zachery said "When did I give you a script?" I said "Not a script but more of a idea that you talked about last meeting" he said "Oh...Cool I guess" I said and Lin and Zachery started handing out the scripts of our play.After reviewing it for a couple minutes and Lin presented an idea to use the auditorium at our school for practice as we are representing the school."If we're gonna use the auditorium we need to contact the principal and that's gonna be really har-" I was interrupted when Zachery started speaking "Got it handled I already asked him for us to use the auditorium even before we had this idea for a merger and play" he said "I'll be damned" Lin said and while they were telling something Gerrie got my attention "So...you're my knight in shining armor" Gerrie said "Wow you take plays seriously don't you?" I said "Well we're doing it for the prize money and we represent the school so I might as well take it seriously ya know?" she said "True.So what do you think about your lines?" I said "Cool as I can act as the soon to be queen of Alexandrite" she said "But not sure if I'm ready though for the big vocabulary that is Incorporated into my lines" she said "You can do it" I said nudging her arm "Yeah sure" she said and she started saying one of her lines "You are one indurateez person" she said messing up the pronounciation of induratize "It's in-du-ra-ties" I said smiling "Told you I can't do it" she said smiling.

POV Switch:Xandra
I was looking at Gerrie and Lee being close when suddenly Leah whispered to me "Jealous?" Leah said "Huh?" I said "Don't you huh me sis" she said "I know when you are jealous or is feeling any emotion" she said "Let's talk privately then" I said and I went up and Leah followed me "So jealous?" she said as I closed the door and locked it "What if I am any problem with that?" I said crossing my arms "You like him don't you?" she said as she sat on the bed and I paused for a moment thinking should I tell her or no "Come on I'm your sis you can trust me" she said changing her voice from teasing to serious in a few seconds "Fine I trust you with my life" I said and I sat beside her on the bed "I....I do like him kinda...a bit..." I said "Just a bit?" she said "Fine I like him but it's been going on and off as he is like a family member I guess" I said "Well you gonna tell him?" she said "Well I can't as ya know he and Gerrie are close and shit" I said "Woah did my sis just curse?Damn love makes people do some crazy stuff but anyways just tell him man" she said "But I don't want too and what if he doesn't like me back?" I said "Then...I don't know just go for it" she said "But everything could go wrong if I tell him" I said "How about plan about it yeah?So everything could go right" she said "I guess....you do have a point" I said "I'll help you plan it" she said "Wait you mean I'll do it now?!" I said "Maybe third quarter but don't make the plan at the very end of your grade as you don't know he might leave" she said and once again the fear I had when Lee said he was leaving before came back "Well....." I said "You were gonna confess at 4th weren't you?" I said "...Yes" I said "Jeez" she said "Anyways you should just do it simple and yeah but don't be so straightforward and when your gonna do it don't be yeah" she said "You know yeah explains a lot" I said sarcastically "I mean don't do it when your stressed,drunk if you ever drinked at your age,etc" she said "Okay that's actually helpful" I said "And just don't get jealous if you don't wanna make it obvious that you like him" she said "And don't get worked up by Gerrie" she said and she unlocked the door and went downstairs.I went down and I saw Gerrie and Lee do a scene "My love I've heard what happened" Lee said "They took everything!" Gerrie said and she started crying and she and Lee embraced "We will get them back and we will get your precious things back" he said and Gerrie looked at Lee's eyes and said "Together we're strong and nothing can hold us back" and she leaned in closer and I knew what was gonna happen next and suddenly a loud metal sound happened "Sorry!" Leah said "That was a good scene" Lin said "Sorry that I interrupted" Leah said "It's fine" Lee said and he looked at me for a second and I looked away.

POV Switch:Lee
"What's up with her?" I thought to myself as I looked at her "I should talk to her" I thought to myself before I tried going to her but Gerrie held on my shoulder and I heard Xandra drop something and I pushed Gerrie off me and I walked towards to Xandra "Anything wrong?" I said as I touched her shoulder "Nothing" she said smiling but I knew it was forced and so I held her on her wrists and pulled her outside "Seriously what's wrong?" I said and we had a moment of silence before the wind started blowing and on the corner of my eye I saw Leah looking at us and suddenly the wind brought in several cherry blossoms and one landed on my hands "I....I..." I cut her off by continuing what she was saying "Like you" I said and I held onto the cherry blossom tightly "Start of a new beginning".

AN:Took me a while to update as I hate to procrastinate really hard which is really bad no offense to people that procrastinate.Also keep in mind the cherry blossoms as they will play a big part like the questions at the end of Too Young.
