Chapter 10:A Rotten Apple Falls From The Tree

"You good Lee?" I said "Yeah Im fine Xandra" he said "Thank you I owe you guys" he said "No need" I said "Serious?" he said raising an eyebrow "Serious" I said "So who did this to you?" I said "My dad" he said "Knew it.Can we tell the authorities or no?" Ava said and Lee was silent until he finally answered Ava "Go" he said "We'll go now as we need to get the bill and get the cops" Ava said leaving the room with the other members "Lee be honest with me.Why did you're dad do that?" I said and he started telling me everything.

POV Switch:Lee
My dad and I had a great relationship but until my mother died he blamed me for all of it "Great driving Lee" my mother said "Thanks" I said "Fresh outta driving school and already can drive" my father said patting me on the back "Thanks means a lot you saying that" I said.The day she died we were just driving to the mall when suddenly a truck came hurling at us and I turned right dodging the truck but hitting the tree making us pass out by the impact."Wake up!" my father said as he was helping my mother get out "Break the door!" he said and I kicked the door he was referring to but it wouldn't budge "Kick it more!" he said as we both kicked the door down "Help me get her out" he said and I tried helping him but I was stuck only able to move my leg.I kicked down the door than was beside me and was able to get out "Shit!" I said trying to help my dad but he got out and my mother burned to death as the explosion got her "No!" my dad said as the car caught on fire "This is all your fault!" he said grabbing me by the collar and I couldn't talk back to him as I know if I didn't turn right.

"That seems petty" Xandra said "What do you mean?" I said "It wasn't your fault it was the fucking truck's fault.It came at you guys at fast speed and if you didn't turn you and your father would've been dead!" she said "I guess you're right" I said "Anyways I'm gonna have to go.Be safe Lee" she said opening the door "Thanks Xandra" I said and she smiled before closing the door.After she left the door opened again after a few minutes and it was a person wearing a hood "Who are you?" I said and the person removed their hood and it was my father "Son I'm so sorry.Lets just call the cops off and we'll forget about this" he said "Why would I so that?" I said "Are you disobeying your father?" he said raising his voice "And if I am what the hell would you do!" I said raising mine "Some of bitch!" he said and he walked up to me and started strangling me "Piece of shit you couldn't do anything right!" he said "Fuck you!" I said kicking him off me and forcing my body to get up and I took the vase next to me and hit him with it shattering it "Fucker!" he said tackling me and I kicked him back and turned started punching "Police!" the cops said opening the door and three cops went in with guns drawn pointed at my father "Put your hands up or be sh-" the cop was cut off when my father took his gun and started shooting the two cops and he later pointed it at me "Goodbye" he said about to hit the trigger but I disarmed him and had him at gunpoint "This family tree doesn't need a rotten apple" I said before I shot him and I fell on the ground thinking about what I just did when more cops arrived and they saw my dad on his own puddle of blood "What the hell?" one of the cops said "Thank you for the gun" I said getting up and going to the nurse that was there when I was being operated "Can I leave?" I said "Yes sir but you need to recover first" she said "I can recover at my place just tell me where are my clothes so I can leave" I said and she went to get my clothes and gave then to me "Here you go sir" she said and I went to the restroom on the floor I was on and changed into my clothes from yesterday "Goodbye dad" I said leaving the hospital and took a taxi to my house.When I arrived I fixed the whole place up and hid the pictures of me and my family in my Memories box and went upstairs and laid on my bed "God I just killed my own father.Is it called self-defense if they tried to kill you and you killed them?It should be right?" I said to myself "Wait..shit we have something to present today!" I said getting up and taking a quick shower and changed my clothes and took my bag and got in a taxi "Cam'ron High School!" I said telling the driver where to go and I got there just in time for our presentation "Wait!" I said opening the door "Lee?" Xandra said surprised of my presence "Hello" I said "You can start your presentation Xandra and Lee" ma'am said "Yes ma'am" I said.We started our presentation without the copy I had of Xandra's piece as I left my phone in a hurry to get here and luckily we didn't do really bad "Xandra and Lee 50/50" ma'am said and Xandra and I looked at each other and both silently rejoiced as we had luck on our side and in that same time she saw I was exhausted "Get some sleep Lee" she said and suddenly cops came inside asking if they can excuse me from class "Oh shit".
