Chapter 8:Welcome Back

I saw her outside waving at me and I rushed downstairs to open the door for her "Lea!" I said hugging her "Nice to see you sis!" she said "How long has it been?" I said "Five years" she said "Come on you hungry?" I said letting her in and closing the door "Nah Im good" she said sitting down on the couch "Thirsty?" I said "No sis" she said and I noticed something is bothering her "What's wrong sis?" I said sitting beside her "It's just...nothing" she said "You could atleast like tell me it you know?" I said "You wouldn't understand" she said "So tell me so I can understand!" I said "Fine.I came back as I dropped out of school" she said "What!Why?" I said "Here" she said handing me a envelope and I opened it revealing a paper "No..." I said reading it "We...aren't blood related" she said "Why did you think I wouldn't understand this?" I said holding back the tears "I don't know I just don't want what usually happens to non related sisters in movies" she said "Thats in movies this is real life" I said "I guess I was just afraid" she said "Yeah.." I said placing the paper back in the envelope and suddenly I heard a doorbell and I used the peephole to see whose outside and it was Lee "You really wanna do the task perfectly?" I said opening the door "Ehhh I know you actually care about your grades so yeah" he said "May I come in" he said and I let him come in and I closed the door "Lea welcome back" he said "Thanks Lee.Im gonna go up Xandra" she said winking at me "The hell...".Lee took out a copy of my piece with his own added things "Here lets use this one and add in the ones you got from the book" he said handing me the copy "Thanks" I said grabbing it and getting my book "So what now?" I said and silence filled the room until he came up with a topic we can talk about "We talk about the school magazine as Zachery is annoying me for the past few days to tell you their gonna be using both of our houses for club meetings as we are the newbies" "Is that like a tradition of theirs?" I said "Yeah and the club meeting will happen first at my place at 2:00 pm" he said "I haven't been in your house at all haven't I?" I said "Now that you say that I've stayed in both of your houses and you didn't even go to my house at all" he said "Yeah" I said smiling "Lets practice saying these stuff shall we?" he said "Yeah why not" I said getting up "First part is you" he said and I read the first paragraph of the report we're gonna be using and we both did decent but yet seems lackluster "It just feels wrong.Maybe we should once in a while refrain from reading when we are reporting" I said "Yeah" he said and suddenly his phone made a loud noise again "God your house just makes time go so much more faster" he said stopping the noise "Let me guess,your leaving?" I said "Yeah I gotta prepare my house for the meeting" he said as he left and I locked the door and Lea was coming downstairs "Is he your boyfriend?" she said smiling "We're just friends Lea you should already know that" I said sitting down turning on the tv "Yeah but you guys look so cute" she said sitting beside me "Don't you say it" I said "I ship it"she said and I stormed upstairs and locked my door "You can't deny it!" she said as I laid on my bed and my pillow covering my face "Why the hell do they ship me and him?" "Is it because we're close?" "Or....crap it could be that one time.No no no we made an agreement to forget that shit no put it back in the back corners of mind Xandra!" I thought to myself as I stood up and went to my desk to make some finish up my piece "Aight just gotta use the stuff Lee gave me" I said as I started writing down the things Lee sent me and after an hour or so I finally finished my piece "Finally!" I said stretching my arms and got up from my chair and checked the time "1:20 I gotta get ready for the meeting" I said walking down and I saw Lea eating while watching tv "Guessing your gonna go to his house yeah?" she said "Yeah" I said grabbing my towel "Hold on isn't the bathroom right there?" she said pointing at the door next to me "Yeah but I have one in my room for easy access" I said going up "Damn so much has changed" she said.I locked the door and placed my dirty clothes in the laundry basket and took a quick shower.After my shower I wrapped the towel around me and went to my room to change into my usual clothes "My precious!" I said getting my shirt designed with a rose flying with the wind and jeans that Lea gave me before she left for college."Wow" Lea said as I went downstairs "Hold on let me do your hair" she said and I sat the couch and she turned my hair almost similar to Queen Daenerys surprised -I still remember her name after a long time since I watched Game of Thrones– "I'll go now" I said having a pouch with me having my paper and a ball pen "Have fun!" she said as she closed the door and I started walking to Lee's house.I haven't really seen Lee's house and have no idea where I'm going but I have him texting me the directions so I should be fine "Xandra!" Lee said waving at me at the second floor of his house "Coming!" I said before he went down and opened the door for me and I saw the other members of the school magazine club"Valar morghulis" Ava said looking at my hair quoting a GoT character "Yes. All men must die, but we are not men".
