Chapter 29:Hide and Seek

I went it the Cafe looking for Lee but just like the past days nothing it was just another usual day but without Lee serving customers.

"D, you know where Lee is?" I asked Domino
"Don't know he hasn't been here for a while now, check his place maybe?" She said as she started typing again
"Thanks" I said leaving the Cafe disappointed.

POV Switch:Lee
"She's gone!" Domino said signaling me to come out
"Why are you two playing hide and seek?" She asked
"Well she's leaving so I.." I was cut off when Domino stared at me
"So you are playing hide and seek?" She said
"Jesus Lee she's leaving what the hell are you doing playing hide and seek" She said typing faster
"Look do you know about the cobra effect?" She said
"Yeah unexpected consequences" I said sitting on the chair in front of her
"Ok,now do you want her to leave with both of you in a bad situation?Lee don't be an idiot,don't let the person you love the most get away from your grasp and leave you and if you can't stop that then spend time with her because you might never see her again happy ending barely exist in real life so you gotta make your own happy ending go against odds see her again" She said
"I guess...You are right,I might never see her again" I said
"Now go,stop playing hide and seek" She said and I stood up
"Thanks D" I said as I grabbed my jacket and went out into the cold streets
"Just like what Elsa said 'Let it go' " I said running to Xandra's place.

POV Switch:Xandra
I sighed as I ringed the door bell and as usual no answer
"Where are you..." I said sitting by the door watching as snow started falling
"This is all my fault its always my fault" I said not trying to just curl up in a ball and cry
"Sometimes its my fault too" I heard a voice said
"Sometimes I'm stupid and just overreact I guess" Lee said as he sat down beside me
"I miss you" I said
"I miss you too" He said
"What do you say we just let it go?" He said
"Sure,Elsa" I said
"Atleast you finally got one of my references" He said
"Tsk" I reacted
"What do you say we go inside I know how to make a really good drink for winter" He said
"Escape special?" I said
"Yeah" He said opening the door and I got up and went in
"You really placed alot of decorations for winter" I said sitting on the couch
"Yeah well winter is the only time I can binge watch alot of stuff" He said making the drink he was talking about
"What happened to us" I said as I looked at a picture on the shelf of Lee and I
"Don't know" He said giving me the drink before he sat down

"Guess things happened huh?" I said taking a sip "Yeah,I'm sorry for every stupid thing I've done especially what I did when I came back" He said looking at the drink
"It's fine" I said
"Besides I should've have said it" I said taking another sip
"But if you didn't I wouldn't have talked to D and she wouldn't have given me pretty good advice" He said
"I hope whenever you leave maybe we can still find each other" He said
"So do I" I said looking at him
"Anyways wanna CW or some animated shows?" He said
"Animated Baby!" I said smiling
"Animated it is" He said and he turned on the TV and switched channels till it was the animated channel
"I wanna be with you till forever" I said leaning on his shoulder
"Forever doesn't exist" He said
"But Voltron Exists" He said
"Is it already on?" I said
"Yeah" He said
"Got any ice cream?" I said
"Ice cream in winter?You really are something" He said handing me ice cream and we binge watched on shows we loved to watch until I passed out watching Adventure Time's last few episodes.

Next Day
I woke up with a blanket and the air con turned off downstairs and I looked at the clock above the TV
"9:30 am" I said getting up and stretching
"What's this" I said getting a piece of paper from the kitchen table
"Keys to lock the door when you leave just give it to me later" I said reading the paper
"Thanks Lee" I said taking the keys and opened the door and went out and locked it.

I walked to my place and Lea was watching something on her phone and I knocked on the door which she opened afterwards

"Finally you are back" Lea said as I went it
"You knew where I was?" I said
"Yeah Lee told us" She said
"Anyways want some breakfast" She said
"A Lea breakfast Special?" I said
"No a McDonald's special" She said handing me a breakfast wrap
"Thanks" I said taking a bite and going upstairs to my room.

"Two more days until I'll try the dresses for my debut" I said looking at the calendar taking a bite of the wrap
"And then 5 days until my debut and then...." I said trailing off at the end and looking outside my window
"God" I said taking another bite and sitting on my desk and I just started drawing anything to past the time and forget the last few days I have with Lee and pretend that I am not leaving at all.My hand just went crazy drawing my mind was on the brink of insanity when I decided to stop and just listen some music and what I wasn't doing for half the vacation was to just chill.

POV Switch:Lee
"So was everything fine?" Domino said as she walked in the cafe
"Wow you are a bit behind schedule eh?" I said sliding her usual drink to her hand
"Well had to handle a few things with my editor and the publishing company but other than that everything is fine" she said sitting down
"Anyways you aren't answering the question" She said placing down her laptop on the coffee table
"Well everything went well" I said
"You found it?" She said
"Yeah I found her" I said
"Talking about your plans.Talking about how you and her would meet in the future?" She said
"Do anything to get to her" I said
"Even if the world decides that you will never see her ever again?" She said
"Let's just find out" I said smiling and she just looked at me and started typing afterwards
"Hope you find her" She said
"Hope you find her in the future 'cause it'll hurt like hell when you stop looking then realized you will never have the same happiness you had with that person in the entire world" She said
"Deep" I said
"Really deep" I said as I took my break and went outside the cafe for some fresh air.

I walked around the block watching how the empty streets now littered with snow slowly piling up the roads.I stopped walking and looked at the studio of Xandra and remembered all the childish things we did there once like running around the inside of the building as new guest came and old ones went and go,watching as the establishment itself grow right in front of us at the same time we grew.I continued walking until I reached the old place where a store that sold chocolate the kind that was like the ones in Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory.I smiled remembering every Birthdays,Christmas or other events where we get money we would just go there over and over as if everything was spinning around that store as if that store was our life.Earlier this entire vacation questions arose and hell not even sure they are answered but one is definitely is answered.

"You know...me,love isn't easy,it isn't something that one can understand so easily,hundreds of questions come out the flood gate so quickly that your entire day is just filled of trying to find answers until you get the gates closed and everything is calming down yet there are still questions left,questions that demand an answer like 'Is happiness so easy to get?' If any of these past weeks have thought me it isn't because whenever you feel like you've got that happy moment that happy ending everything comes down and you are hiding your anger that everything you've done so far has led to utter complete failure but then you are seeking for a way to end the streak of bad luck and finally get that happy ending and for once be happy and fall in love.."
