Chapter 4:Memories

"Nothing at all" I said falling on my bed "Why did I pick a writing position though?" I asked myself holding the paper that got no progress at all "Who am I kidding?I can't get a good shot to be a photographer,can't draw crap and writing is the easiest from them all...I think" I said getting up and going to my desk "Think Lee think!" I told myself as I took my pencil and started biting it "What is love to you?" I said to myself as I started remembering romance novels that I read and romance movies I watched "Love is unpredictable you really can't figure it out so easily.Its something made to make us feel happy but due to our own stupidity we choose the wrong guy/gal which just leaves a mark on us and to find our true counterpart we need to wait for a long time but sometimes there isn't really someone that matches with you until you realize it too late and you've just noticed the guy/gal you need is leaving and was in front of you the whole time!That is just how unpredictable love is!Love is so weird that almost no one can figure it out it's just a tornado of emotions" I said outloud "Yeah that's good enough" I said as I started writing down what I said and suddenly my phone vibrated getting my attention and I grabbed it seeing I got a notification from Xandra "Sry for disturbing but can I also make a piece and give it to Zachery for the school magazine?" I texted her back the information Zachery gave me for the school magazine "Yeah you can but ask him first so he can place you in the sign up list thing" she took a few minutes to see it but she eventually did and replied with "Thx" "Atleast she can can get accepted and I have someone that is my grade and not like five grades higher than me" I said closing my phone "What else could I write?Nah thats enough for a day I still need to do an advance study" I said getting my math book "Tangent line....damn I could've made a good Quote of Cupid with a tangent line" I said looking at the line's description "My crush is like a tangent line...it was there but it didn't last" I said making a quote when I heard a box fell from downstairs and I immediately checked if it broke anything "Memories" I said reading the markings on the box and I opened it and saw a picture of a friend "Didn't I burn these" I said as I fixed the box but before I could leave another picture caught my eye and it was Xandra and I in our trip to her home town "That day....." I said as I remembered the time we grew even more closer to each other but yet still can't speak like normal friends.

Few Years Ago
"Dang your hometown is nice" I said looking outside the car window "Its awesome isn't?" she said "Im surprised your parents didn't come?" she said "Nah they're too busy doing business stuff" I said "Business stuff.." she said smiling "Screw you" I said "Your talking to my daughter young man" her father said "Sorry Sir" I said to her father "Its beautiful for such a small place" her mother said "What's this place called?" I said "Teaton's Estate" she said "Its a estate owned by Sir Teaton III according to history books he survived an encounter with the greatest pirate of them all,Black beard.He was also a kind man but his life ended once he built this place" Xandra said "You read history books?" I asked her "I guess you don't know a lot about me" she said and the car stopped "We're here!" her dad said going outside and we all followed and we saw their house "Holy..." I said admiring the European styled house with a mix of medieval decor outside "Didn't know you guys were kings and queens" I said "Haha funny" she said "You are smiling though" I said as she started covering her smile "We aren't kings and queens but we are a descendant of Teaton" her father said "You could've told me that Xandra!" I said "I didn't even know" she said "Lets get settled in" her father said carrying our luggage as we went inside "Woah" I said even more surprised by the decor inside "Is that an actual armor?" I said "Yeah" Xandra's parents said "We're gonna start cleaning the place and such so you guys just have fun and play outside but don't stray far" she said "We're 15 mom we can handle it" Xandra said "14 actually" I said "Not helping" she said "Go anywhere you want but be careful" her mom said and we started leaving the house and took a closer look at the center of the town "Wonder how people live here" I said looking at the different cafes,houses,parks and work areas "Lee look at this!" she said dragging me to the center monument in the park "Take a picture!" she said handing me her instax "Only you?" I said "Join me!" she said smiling as I got next to her and I took a pic of us and she took it and showed it to me "Nice shot" she said smiling "So what should we do now?" I said "Hey lets play truth or dare" she said "Thought you hated that kinds of things?" I said "Yeah but lets try" she said as she sat down on a bench and I sat down beside her "Fine" I said "Truth or Dare" she said "Dare" I said "I dare you to run the entire park" she said "Aight" I said smiling and started running.I ran for five minutes and when I went back to the bench she wasn't there and I looked around for her worried and suddenly I felt someone touch my shoulders "Boo!" she said and I fell on the ground scared "Got you" she said "My God Xandra" I said "Hey im sor-" she was interrupted when she fell on the ground next to me almost falling on me "Great job Xandra" I teased her "Screw you!" she said getting up and helped me get up and for the first time I got to see her up close "Hazel eyes and hazel hair.." I thought to myself as I saw her get red and so did I and we both pushed each other away "I think we should probably go back" I said "Yeah good idea" she said and we started heading for Xandra's house.
