Chapter 12:Music Is My Soulmate

(This Chapter is in Xandra's POV)
I had my phone connected to my earphones listening to Heavy "I'm gonna go now sis" I said to Lea "I'll come I need to find a job anyways" she said "Bye Mom!" I said "Bye!" my mother said as we left "I'll take a taxi" Lea said "And I'll take the bus see ya" I said getting in the bus and the bus drove off with Lea waving me goodbye.Our house is near Lee's but lots of kids live in this street which makes Lee go to another bus which is good I guess because most of the people here ship me and him which I always tell them "Music is my soulmate not him!" I said as the bus started talking about our relationship "Admit it you like him" Angela said "It's very obvious" she said "I don't like him" I said sitting down on my usual seat "Fine would you have feelings for him in the future?" she said "I.... can't answer" I said "You don't know"  she said "Yeah I don't" I said "You do know we still ship you and him right?" she said "I know" I said "Aight so one of your busmates has transferred to another location where it's more closer to the school we'll pick up someone in the other bus" the driver said while he was driving into the street where Lee and a couple of others live and he stopped across Lee's house "Is this the right place?" the driver said and he saw Lee outside his house playing with his phone and he drove there and he opened the door and Lee raised an eyebrow "Wasn't I supposed to be picked up by another bus?" Lee said "Well you're getting picked up now by my bus" the driver said "K" Lee said as he got up "Yo" Lee said and everyone started looking at me and I immediately looked away "Oh I wonder who this is" he said as he sat behind me "Your really good at hiding ya know that?" he whispered to me "Shut up!" I said smiling and surprisingly no one noticed us talking the whole bus ride "No no no NO!He doesn't deserve the goddamn gem!" I said "He does.I mean he is like strong enough" he said "But he is evil!" I said "Jonah is not evil" he said "He sabotaged the plan to take down the big baddy and he also made the last guy who used the gem die" I said "Oh...but..well he.." he couldn't defend Jonah a fictional character in our favorite show named Reflect "I guess I win" I said "Yes you did" he said smiling "Didn't know you were this talkative" he said "I'm only like this when you're around" I said "Not in a bad way like in a way that makes me feel like if I somehow fail you like make me feel better by making it look like it was intentional with your good picking of words" I said and he took a moment to reply back "What did you just say?" he said "Nevermind" I said "You have a talent in confusing people" he said "Should I join a talent show?" I said "Sure you'll totally win" he said "Wow we've been talking alot during this bus ride eh?" I said "Yeah.More than we usually do" he said "Anyways I'm gotta read a book" he said "What's the title?" I said "Vampires of Manhattan" he said "Never heard of it" I said "It's not really well known as this book in particular hasn't been made into a TV show yet" he said "Wait so the books made by this author got turned into a TV show?" I said "I think it was called Witches of The East End that got turned into a TV show" he said "Damn his/her books must be good" I said "It is in my opinion" he said "What's the author's name?" I said "Melissa Dela Cruz" he said "Let me write the name 'cause I need new books to read" I said bringing out my phone and noting down the name of the author "Im just gonna sleep" I said and I quickly fell asleep."Xandra we're here" Lee said as he was shaking me to make me wake up "Great job making a person wake up" I said stretching my arms teasing him "Yeah yeah" he said and he stepped down the bus with me following behind him "You guys are now in the same bus?" Anne said "Yeah" Lee and I said "And they're very talkative" Angela said entering the school "Aww I ship it even more!" Anne said "Screw you" Lee said entering the school still reading his book "We're just friends" I said walking with Anne to our class "Yeah but we ship you guys 'cause you're so close to each other" she said "And that you guys are cute together and that you have a lot in common" she said "Like what?" I said "You guys have a presence that screams tornado of weirdness and happiness with a little of sadness sometimes,you guys are in the same club,both good writers,you guys have quick reflexes but still can't catch for some goddamn reason" she said "And thats only little!" she said as we entered the room and I saw all of them looking down on their phones a little to much "What the hell is going?" I said asking Lee "This" he said showing me his phone "Concert.Right here?Hell yeah!" I said gathering everyones attention "Not just any concert" Ava said "Linkin Park will be there for their tour" she said "Everyone is trying to get tickets online and there's this raffle that's going on that makes a lucky person get 5 free vip tickets that gives you access to the backstage and get front row seats and get a signed album from them" she said "Let me get some tickets then" I said bringing out my phone and going to the website to get a ticket for myself and just maybe get lucky and get the vip tickets."Oh wow" I said "What is it?" Ava said and I showed her my phone "Seems like your soulmate helped you out" Angela said.
