It Doesn't Matter Who Hurt You, Or Broke You Down, What Matters Is Who Made You Smile Again.

Nova sits on the bleachers, chewing on a handful of Sour Skittles. Right now it was fourth quarter, and both teams were in their separate corners, probably going over plays. The score was 55-50. In which Richmond High was falling five points behind.

A loud buzzer feels the gym, as both teams fill back onto the court. Christian and Chris were basically the only two people who were putting in an effort to make any points for the team. Coach was definitely going to a have a fit with some of the players who were just standing there looking straight dumb.

"G, you need to pass the fucking ball. Every time you get passed the ball your dumb ass thinks you can shoot front the three point line and they end up getting the ball. Pass the fucking ball nigga."'Chris speaks pointing his finger at one of his teammates, Josiah.

Coach couldn't even back Josiah up, it was true. They were five points behind because the team wasn't passing, they thought they were capable of shooting from anywhere on the court.

In which only a handful of them were capable of.

Josiah flips Chris off, not liking how he thought Chris could just tell him what to do. He'd been on the team for three years straight, he knew what to do. Hopefully.

The ref blows his whistle as a person from the other team throws the ball in, instead of the opponents player catching it, a person from Chris's team immediate caught it and passed it to Christian.

Christian ran down the court, looking for open arms. He saw Chris standing there, with nobody guarding him, so he passed the ball. In which Chris caught and shot from where he was; everyone on Richmond High side clenched something while waiting to see if the ball would go in.

Indeed, the ball went. Richmond High students went crazy over the new player they now had on the team. Now they actually had a chance of making it to the championship and winning.

Nova smiles, clapping her hands at Chris's three point action. They were now only two points behind with eight minutes in the game.

They totally had this.

The rest of the game slowly went last, every two minutes a team scoring. Richmond High was winning by three and there was only fifteen seconds left.

"Issa wrap." Nova mumbles to herself. Their team had the ball, and there was no way they were gonna let the other team get it.

Chris dribbled the ball between his legs down the court, with a prominent smirk on his face.

"Nigga shoot it!" Someone from the crowd says making him chuckle. The clock was counting down from ten as Chris edge closer to the net; he waited until the clock got to five seconds before shooting from half court.

"If he makes this...." A player from the other team says watching the ball fly through the air.

This time everyone in the gym was clenching something to see if the ball would go through.

Swoosh!

"What I tell you?!" Christian yells running over to Chris who had a kool-aid smile on his face.
