Nova held her phone up to her mouth, spinning around in the chair, and singing along to the song Chris was playing for her uncle.

"Nova shut up, I can't hear shit over your annoying voice." Keyon spoke looking over at Nova. Nova shut her mouth, sticking her middle finger up once he had looked back the other way. "I saw that."

"I saw that." Nova mocked rolling her eyes. Chris laughed at the two, continuing to play the song for Keyon.

In a hour or so Nova's family would be getting on a plane to go back to New York, and Keyon had been wanting Chris to take him by wherever he recorded songs to hear more. Nova tagged along just because she didn't feel like staying at home, plus she enjoyed being around Chris whenever it dealt with him and music, she loved his voice.

Nova spun around in the chair a few more times, each time looking around the recording studio they were in. She hoped Chris would become something big, his voice was too good for him not to; she was sure within a decade or less he would be one of the biggest celebrities out.

She smiled to herself at the thought of it and turned the chair to where she was facing Chris and her uncle talking about something. Their voices were awful low so Nova was guessing their conversation was none of her business.

The two talked for a few more minutes before they were both ready to leave.

"Can we stop and get food?" Nova asked following them out the building and to her uncles rental car.

"We just got food before we came here. How are you hungry?" Keyon ask unlocking the car. Nova poked her bottom lip out and got into the back seat feeling like he was trying to call her fat.

"But I'm hungry again...." Nova pouts laying the back of her head against the seat.

Just to Nova's luck, she woke up to a nice surprise of her menstrual cycle paying her a visit. She was surprised because her period was a week earlier than when it usually came, but she was happy it came now rather than later.

"I'm so sorry to hear that." Keyon mumbled with pure sarcasm. Nova layed a hand over her stomach and crossed her legs, really wanting to go home, eat something, and take a nap.

Once they arrived home, Chris went back to his house and Nova and Keyon went inside the house. Nova really wasn't in the mood for speaking, but said goodbye to everyone and thanked them for the graduation gifts. And just like that, the house was back to quiet and all the family members had left back to New York.
