Wattpad just randomly deleted my chapter nine....and I totally forgot what it was about. But I read chapter 8 and 10, and it seems like chapter nine didn't have anything TOO important in it. So we gone act like it never existed.😭

"The music's loud and we're feelin wild, come dance along with the golden child. I don't know much bout you, let me check your fouls." Nova sings untwisting the las strand of hair. The beat to Forever Young by Lil Yachty drops  as she starts bobbing her, making sure not mess up the no heat curl.

"But we could be together forverrrrr! We could be togetherrrrrrr! Foreverrrr! And everrrr!" She yells imitating his autotune voice, teasing her hair with s comb then placing it back on the counter.

She brushes her olive green T-shirt off before walking out her bathroom and putting on her Jordan 4 Retro Snakeskins that went along with her shirt and black skinny jeans. She puts on a black zip up jacket before grabbing all her things and walking down the steps.

Nova was in a beyond good mood today, only because it was Wednesday...which was the Varsity boys first basketball game. The girl's usually started a few weeks after them...their tryouts were being held next week.

A/N : Does y'alls school do this? I feel like my school is the only one to do this😭

She was excited to see if Chris could really play; well she knew he could play since he made the team, but she'd like to witness his talent herself.

She sped past the kitchen, which is where the family was eating breakfast, before walking outside. There Chris was, standing outside his customized matte black Rolls Royce.

"Morning." Nova smiles letting Chris open the door for her, she gets in and sets her black bag in front of her.

"You sound happy." Chris smiles getting in himself. Nova had that type of energy that was vibrant and contagious....Chris could feel her happiness radiating to himself.

"I am! I'm honestly so excited for tonight." Nova exclaims strapping her seatbelt in along with Chris. He lets out a hearty chuckle, finding it quite funny that Nova was so excited over something as simple as him playing basketball.

"I'm nervous as shit, and I barely get nervous." Chris states pulling off down the street.

"It's normal to be nervous before every basketball game. But once you get out there, your nervousness turns into energy. Best feeling in the world." Nova says thinking of when she use to play basketball.

"I don't think I can do this coach." Nova breathes wiping her sweaty palms against her basketball shorts. Her stomach was swirling in a fast motion, the butterflies were having a ball in her stomach.

It was the last game of the season...the championship. This was the most important game of the long season, the girls were on a winning streak and hoped to not only continue it but win the state championship.

"You never fail to impress me Nova. You got this, trust me." Coach says laying a hand on Nova's back.

Nova nods to herself, trying to have faith in herself. She looks up into the crowd, her parents waves catching her attention, a smile comes upon on her face as she waves back.
