We Can Not Change The Past, But We Can Start A New Chapter With A Happy Ending.

Nova threw her granola bar wrapper in the trash, walking into the cold art room. She sat her binder and books down on the table making Chris look up from his graduation cap and smile.

"You're on time for class, whaat?" Nova jokes tightening her high ponytail.

"Haha. Why weren't you in first or second period?" Chris ask setting his paint crush down.

"I had a meeting for the National Honor Society, it had something to do with graduation." Nova shrugs taking her graduation cap from out her bag and setting it on the table.

"It lasted a whole two periods?" Chris ask arching an eyebrow.

"No. They had breakfast too and I really didn't feel like going to second period so I just ate really slow. I bought you this." Nova says pulling the small bottle
of orange juice and two wrapped up Cinnabon's out her bag.  "I don't think I was supposed to take anything though."

"Thank you baby."

"Eh heh." Nova mumbled dropping her bag on the floor and walking back to the art shelfs.

This week in art seniors were able to decorate their graduation caps, even people that weren't in art were able to come and theirs, or let someone else do it for them. Nova was doing her cap along with Cydney, who had no art skills whatsoever. Nova didn't have a problem with it.

She grabbed a paintbrush and a pallet before squinting a decent amount of each color of paint she would need. After doing so she walked back her seat and sat down beside Chris.

"What're doing to your cap?" Nova ask rolling the sleeves of her black Marvel sweatshirt up; it went incredibly well with the slide on Marvel Vans she had gotten some time ago.

Chris held his cap up, all he had done so far was paint the entire background black, before shrugging his shoulders.

"Whatever comes to mind, which at the moment is nothing." He says setting his cap back down. "Other than putting Suck a fart out my ass. But they wouldn't approve." Chris sighed resting his elbow on the table.

Nova shook her head, taking  her phone from her pocket and going onto Pinterest, which is where she found a graduation cap idea she liked. The cap was covered in flowers with a bible verse Nova felt she could relate to in the middle of it; it was simple but she liked it.

The first step was to begin drawing the design in pencil, which took a almost half the period.

"Ion even wanna do this shit. Ima just leave it black and call it a day." Chris shrugged pushing his materials to the side, and laying his head down on the cold steel table.

"What time did you go to sleep last night?" Nova ask setting her pencil her pencil down and turning over to  Chris.

"I didn't." Chris mumbled. Novas eyes widened but soon changed to a look of confusion.
