A Man's True Character Comes Out When He's Drunk.

"Nope. Nope. Nope. I don't even know where it's at." Nova says playing in her makeup while on FaceTime with Chris. By playing in her makeup, I mean sitting there trying random ass looks on her face seeing if it looked right.

"It's over there by Pelicans with all them big houses. And why? It's probably one of the last pool parties of the season. If ima be there then why won't you go?" Chris ask popping a bag of popcorn in the microwave.

"Nigga I don't care if Jesus Christ himself was there. I'm not going." Nova says trying to get a perfect wing in her right eye.

"Gimme one good reason." Chris states staring at her through the camera. Nova sighs and sits criss-cross apple sauce on her vanity before tuning back into her and Chris's stupid conversation.

"For one, there's bout to be so much people there. Two, I don't wanna wear a bathing suit. Three, I ain't tryna get my hair wet. Four, all of you are annoying as hell. Five, I'm compl-"

"Okay. Okay." Chris mumbles cutting her off, even though none of her reasons were just enough for him.

"Just put a shirt over your bathing suit. That's what a lot of girls do." Chris shrugs taking the popcorn out the microwave and shaking it.

"I'm not going Chris, So stop wasting your time and breath asking me to go. And I personally don't think you should go....tomorrow's a school day and you'll probably be getting drunk." Nova says shutting the topic completely down.

"Hell Yeah ima get drunk," Chris says in a duh tone. "You're no fun." Chris pouts.

"Because I don't wanna go to a dumb ass party?....yeah okay." Nova mumbles rolling her eyes in annoyance.

"I know you're really not catching an attitude." Chris ask reading her expression through the camera while shoving a handful of popcorn in his mouth.

"Who has a attitude?" Nova ask with a clear attitude. Chris had been talking to her about the stupid party for at least an hour now; she was tired of the convincing.

"What has an attitude? You nigga." Chris retorts eyeing her.

"Okay. So now you're accusing me of having an attitude that I clearly didn't have. But now I'm starting to catch an attitude because of you." Nova says grabbing a makeup wipe and cleaning her face off, done with the makeup shit for today.

"Are you serious? You have an attitude because I want you to go to a party?" Chris as knitting his eyebrows together.

"No....I have an attitude because you keep fucking talking about it after I've said no several times." Nova says.

"You clearly must be coming up on that time of the month or something. You acting all bitchy for no reason." Chris states eating another handful of popcorn.

Nova tilts her head to the side, wondering if she heard the correct words escape his mouth.

"Oh, okay." Nova chuckles grabbing her phone and repeatedly pressing the red hang up button.

Nova scoffs before walking in her room and tossing her phone on the bed. He was a true pain in the ass. She sits down on her bed before turning her attention to the episode of Cupcake Wars that was on. She didn't understand why Chris wanted her to go to this dumb party so bad, she knew that he knew that it wasn't her scene or atmosphere whatsoever.
