There was a few comments in the last chapter asking what part of Asia she was from. In the first chapter it says her mom was from Vietnam....sorry for any confusion🙂

"Did you have fun?" Nova ask smiling up at Chris. The two walked through the crowded lawn, a hell load of people all trying to exit the outside concert.

"Mhm." Chris hums watching some random video on Instagram, occasionally glancing up to make sure he didn't run into anyone. Half of these people were drunk and growing up random places on the lawn.

Nova only pursed her lips and crossed her arms over her chest, deciding not to carry on with a conversation. This evening had went accordingly to what she had planned- expect for the part where Chris barely spoke a word to her. Nova had picked Chris up, they went and got food, came to the concert- of course had a great time seeing one of their favorite artist- and now they were here. Leaving the concert, Chris once again, head wrapped in his phone.

Chris wasn't intentionally trying to ignore her, he just didn't feel like talking to her at the moment. He didn't think much of it.

"Soooo, you hungry?" Nova ask walking down the first set of steps, then waiting since there was a crowd of people just standing.

"Nah."

Nova nods and finally began to walk down the rest of the stairs. It took around 20 minutes for them to reach her car, and another 45 minutes to leave the crowded parking lot. By this time is was almost 1 in the morning.

Nova was drained from the week and it was only Tuesday. This week was going how she expected it, beside the part of Chris ignoring her. The unnecessary ass drama, the arguments, gossip- everything girls their age shouldn't be focused on. This was ridiculous freshman drama from Nova's point of view.

Nova honestly didn't care anymore, everyone who was barely involved in the situation cared more than her.

She huffed and stopped at a red light, looking over at Chris who was smiling at something off of his phone. She was honestly curious to why he wasn't talking to her, but didn't wanna ask, scared of the answer she might've gotten. Did she do something wrong? Did he find a prettier girl? Was he over her drama? Was her emotions too much for him? Did her past creep him out? Was there someone better? Her insecurities were starting to kick in.

There's always some one better Nova.

"Shut up." Nova mumbled under her breath, the voice she hadn't heard in months talking in the back of her head.

"What?" Chris ask looking over at her with a confused face.

"Huh?" Nova ask pulling off from the red, now green, light.

"You over there talking to yourself?" Chris ask looking over at her weirdly.

"What? No. That's crazy." Nova says with a small chuckle, shaking her head. Chris looked at her for a few more seconds before shrugging and turning back to his tone.
