The Bravest Thing I Ever Did Was Continuing My Life When I Wanted To Die.

Nova Williams P O V
"Aye!" I yell trying to catch up with Dejha who was walking down the hall. The first day of school was finally over, it was just like all the other days if were tryna be honest.

"What?" She ask stopping and turning around.

I reach in my purse and pull out a few hundred dollar bills and handing it to her.

"Get me a pound or two of Grand daddy." I say as she nods taking the money and sticking it in her back pocket.

"Where do you be getting this money from? I mean we've know each other for the longest and you still won't tell me where you get big bank from." She says.

"Don't worry bout it." I mumble zipping my purse back up.

"I'll bring it to you after school. Need a ride home?" She ask.

"Nah, I'll walk." I say speeding off and out the school before she could lecture me about me needing to ride with her.

The hot sun hits my face making me groan, I hate the heat. Before I could fully walk off the property I pulled out my earphones and plugged them into my phone. I play a random song then begin my walk home.

When I graduate I hope to move back to New York or either Los Angeles. Right now my mind is set on majoring in being a Pediatric Doctor; I know it requires a lot of communication but I'm willing to do it.

I feel that being around people that I personally know makes my depression worst, seeing my uncles face everyday just reminds me of seeing my dad. Only if I could have a clean sleet in life; get away from everyone and start brand new.

I stare down at my feet wanting to take my shoes off, take a shower, and climb into bed. Take a good nap, and finally smoke a good joint. That sounds delightful.

I let the music feel my ears while playing with the sharpeners in my pocket, I don't plan my cutting times- or when I want to cut. It just happens.

The cars fly past me, every once in a while stopping to wonder why I was walking on the side of the road. But it was an every day thing- well technically not over to summer. But you know what I mean.

I look up from my feet hearing blasting music, matter of fact they were playing a song I know. I knew the car was about to drive past any second now because of the increase the music had on my ears.

House like, we runnin through that bitch
Like it's fast track
I remember all them days I was broke
But I'm past that
Get the job done when I'm bustin'
I don't backtrack.

The music was soon right beside me and every word was rapped perfectly. I knew the car was beside me but didn't bother to turn and look, I started to get scared a little once the car continued with my paste of walking.

What if I were being kidnapped?

I mean even if I was, the worst they could do is kill me- I'd be fine with that.

From the corner of my eyes I could see the car turn their hazard lights on and slowly ride beside me. Now I was really scared, this had never happened before on a walk home from school.
