"Stan...?" Mr. Garrison asked, getting no reply back. "Has anyone seen Stan today?" No one replied once again. "Okay then," He muttered.I rolled my eyes and sighed. This is probably the fifth time this month that Stan has gotten drunk and skipped out on class. I was sick and tired, especially since Wendy and the guys weren't doing anything about it. I asked Wendy a few times, but she always replied with, "Stan's fine, he's not hurting anyone?" Which was stupid, because he was hurting someone, himself; and me.
When I would ask the guys, they would say it's normal and he would forget all about it. I was sick and tired, seeing how they let their friend get drunk and does god knows what. This was the last straw.
During lunch I went to go talk to Wendy, and it did not go well. She embarrassed me in front of the whole lunchroom.
"Wendy, can I talk to you, in private?" I asked, and she nodded.
"If this is about Stan, then let me tell you he's fine. He always is," She rolled her eyes.
"Okay, but this is the fifth time this month! He's done it too many times to count from the previous months. You should really do something. I know it isn't my right to tell you what to do since he's your boyfriend, but still, this isn't good." I crossed my arms.
"Yeah, you're right." I smiled. "It isn't your place to tell me how to handle my boyfriend." I scoffed and she rolled her eyes once again. "Mind your business, you whore." I pushed her into the table.
"Me? I'm a whore? Tell that to everyone else on the football team!" I yelled, cashing her to blush in embarrassment. Yeah, Wendy constantly cheated on Stan with a guy named Gregory, and Token. That's the whole reason I quit cheerleading and volleyball.
"You're just mad because you know you like Stan!" She growled. "You have a crush on my boyfriend and you're telling me what to do?" She laughed.
"Yeah, okay I like your boyfriend, so? At least I know how to treat him fucking right." I spat, flipping her off and leaving. I was going to find Stan.
I first checked his house, but no, he wasn't there. His mom and dad weren't there either, probably at their jobs. I checked the next place I thought he would be, Starks Pond.
When I got to the pond, there were a few bottles here and there. I checked them and they were still wet, which probably meant he was here recently. I didn't know where else to check, until I saw a coupon for Mick's bowling. Of course!
When I got to the parking lot for Mick's bowling, I didn't see Stan's car, but I checked anyways. There were only two cars, so those weren't his.
When I went inside, i immediately saw Stan drinking some type of beer. I sighed in relief and ran over to Stan, hugging him.
"Woah," He turned and looked at me, and smiled when he saw me. "(Y/n)..." He patted my head and I blushed.
"Stan," I sighed and whispered. "What are you doing here? And why do you keep getting drunk?" We sat down while he continued to keep drinking.
"I dunno." He suddenly looked sad from the question. I smiled sadly and hugged him.
"C'mon, you can tell me." He sighed and shook his head.
"I dunno, it's nothing." I sighed and shook my head.
"Stan, it's not nothing. No one drinks for nothing; it's always something." I leaned my head on his shoulder. "Please, Stan." I whispered and closed my eyes.
"Wendy." He said finally breaking the silence. "I know she's been cheating on me with a few other guys. But I don't really care, I don't love her anymore. I know she doesn't care about me, just that I'm the captain of the football team." He took more swings of the alcohol.
"She's a bitch. But I'm one too. I knew this was happening, but I was too afraid to tell you. I knew how much you loved her and I didn't wanna be selfish and ruin it." I mumbled, playing with my thumbs.
"How were you selfish?" He asked, turning and looking at me with confusion. I blushed and rubbed my arm.
"Well, because..." I trailed off, but sighed. "I really like you. I know it corny, but I have for a while." I chuckled awkwardly. Stan stared at me for a few seconds, but then bursted out laughing.
"You like me?" He laughed while I sat there, shocked and flustered.
"W-what?" My smile dropped, but he kept smiling while holding my chin with his two fingers.
"I didn't know you liked me." He smiled. "I loved you, but i only stayed with Wendy because I didn't know if you liked me or not." I smiled he kissed my lips, and I kissed back.
He pulled apart and winked at me. "I love you so much, Stan." I hugged him. "So, are you gonna break up with Wendy and be my boyfriend?" I asked, and he rolled his eyes playfully.
"Well, duh." He flicked my head, and I shoved him playfully. "And I love you, too." He chuckled.
"Okay, but you have to promise me something," He glazed at me with amusement. "You have to stop getting drunk and missing school. You can still get drunk, but only a few times, and not when there's school!" I crossed my arms.
"Yes, ma'am." He burped and I giggled, along with him laughing.
