My whole body was numb and the passing breeze was freezing my face. I could hear Alex's voice by my side, mumbling something, and rustling of clothes, and my cats once again meowing.
''Come on, we're leaving.'' He said, pulling me by my hands towards his car.
''Have you fed the cats?'' I asked slowly.
''Yeah.'' He answered coldly, which made me wonder why was he acting like that.
''Where are we going?''
''To the party.''
''What? Why?''
''Because we were freaking invited. And I don't care about what you have to say, we are not missing this.''
I sunk further into the seat, plugging on my earphones and looking out the window, mad and still not feeling really well.

Once we arrived at the address Hann had text us, Alex dragged me out of the car, the mood lightening a bit. He made a few jokes and I smiled a bit as we crossed the gates and front garden towards the three story black house that had music blasting and lights flickering from out of it.
The overly excited fangirl I called friend rang the doorbell and we waited for a couple seconds before the door was flung open by a rather annoyed Matthew, who gasped at my sight, which only made me believe, even more, that he hated me.
But then, to cut out a bit of the tension, Alex spoke up, greeting him and then walking inside after Matthew stepped aside and invited him in, leaving me there for a moment, just looking at his face.
''Hey.'' I said after a little while.
''Hello.'' He answered, running a hand through his hair. His expression changed; he didn't seem angry nor annoyed anymore; just, maybe, nervous, hesitant -- or even apologetic. Or maybe just insanely angry... who knows.
Matthew's P.O.V.
The door was angrily flung open by me only to reveal a tall blonde guy and the girl -- who was completely different from what I remembered. She had her green and brown hair falling down her shoulders in soft waves; her slim frame was covered by a knee-length black dress and her legs in also black tights, and then black Doc Martens identical to mine, with even the laces tied in the same weird way. She had a black and dark green sweater on that was clearly a bit too big for her, but it suited her perfectly somehow.
She seemed so unsure of herself, uneasy about me and about what I had to say; she didn't smile. I noticed she didn't do that often -- it happened only a couple of times last time we met. She had bags under her eyes that indicated she didn't get much sleep at night -- pretty much just like me. She seemed tired, not only physically, but also mentally; emotionally drained, as they'd say. Again, like me.
For those few moments I asked myself why I hated her so much.
Thoughts of my last relationship drained from my mind and the only thing there was that girl, whose name I still didn't know, and about how actually beautiful she was.
''Hello, I'm Alex. How are ya?''
''I,'' I said, snapping out of my trance and focusing on the guy. ''I'm alright mate, come on in.'' I stepped aside and he got inside, not thinking twice about leaving his friend, which was, in my opinion, a bit idiotic but oh well who am I to judge whatever that bloke does.
I looked back at the girl and flashed her a smile; she didn't seem to notice it as she examined my ripped white shirt, her eyes sliding down my body towards my feet -- same Doc Martens.
''Hey.'' She said after a bit.
''Hello.'' I answered, absentmindedly running a hand through my hair. ''What's your name again?''
''Anna.''
''Nice to properly meet you... Anna.'' I pulled out my hand for her to shake, which she hesitantly did. I smiled at the sound of the name. It was pretty; suited her; it sounded nice and slid out of my split lips easily. It was the sort of name good to be said during passionate sex, as in the way nature intended.
After an awkward smile exchanging, I let her inside and heard her mumbling an apology as she walked past me. I chose not to pay attention to that, leaving her to think I didn't actually care about her or her feelings, which was the complete opposite of what was happening.
''Uh, Hann?'' I called out as I shut the door. ''I think you might be excited about this.''
The guy came sprinting towards us and squealed when he saw Anna and Alex.
''YOU CAME!''
''We came!'' Alex responded.
They all greeted each other while I directed myself once again back towards the kitchen -- that was my main goal to reach in the first place. As I poured pure passion-fruit juice and vodka into a glass, I heard Hann introducing them to the rest.
''Guys! These are Anna and Alex!''
I walked back towards the living room, taking the vodka bottle with me.
''They'll be joining us tonight and hopefully again soon, in the next times we meet.'' Hann continued on. I was mesmerized about how much he liked those two; he knew barely anything about them, and still he was absolutely thrilled to be having them there that night. And let me tell you, that was something quite rare, Hann being this excited about something; he never gets, about anything. He's always so... passive. Indifferent. Never passionate; well, except about music. But he's just a really reserved guy. I don't doubt he loves things -- he sure does --, but he keeps it all to himself. Locked up. So this was new.
I walked into the room, getting in the waves of ''hello's'' and ''how are you's'' towards the new ones, and slumped down at the end of the couch, next to George.
For a while they just kept on talking normally. Ross refilled cups and served new drinks; the music changed; they laughed and smiled at each other, getting drunker by the minute. And everything was fantastic for everybody, except for me.
And for Anna.
