''You hungry?'' Matthew asked as I swam around a bit more while he rested on the marble alongside the pool, drying himself off in the rays of sun that made an appearance.
''I'm alright, thanks.'' I replied, swimming closer to him again.
''Really? You haven't eaten since you got here, which was like 6pm yesterday. And it's already 2:30.''
''Yeah, I advise you about it being 2:30,'' I chuckled, getting out of the pool and sitting beside him. ''didn't you have band practice at 2?''
''Maybe.'' He smirked, leaning closer to me.
He pressed his lips against mine and I could feel myself backing down, in a way that soon his bare body was on top of mine as we made out.
''We should go,'' I said in between kisses. ''I mean it.''
I bit his lip during a kiss after he ignored me, as he started palming my breasts.
''Matthew- I'm- serious,'' I panted, turning my head so his lips were no longer on mine.
He groaned in annoyance and kept trying to kiss me again, but I turned my head from one side to another, chuckling.
''Don't be a tease, let me freaking kiss you!''
''No, we have to go! I'm getting cold, too.''
He suddenly grinned; he wrapped me in his arms tightly and kissed my neck fiercely. ''Still?''
''Urgh, stop it, my god.'' I half moaned, half scolded, pushing his head away while he laughed. ''You have to get ready.''
''We have to get ready.'' He mumbled, kissing my temple before standing up and pulling me with him, while I giggled like an idiot.

I had just gotten out of a quick hot shower in Matthew's en suite bathroom when I realized the dye on my hair had faded almost completely in the pool's chlorine. I slid on some clothes Matthew had borrowed me while I thought of which colour I'd dye it next, when he came in through the door fully dressed, a look of excitement and apprehension in his eyes.
''Hey.'' I smiled.
''Ohh,'' He smiled like a kid when he looked at my hair. ''you're half blonde!''
''Yeah,'' I chuckled. ''the dye faded in the water.''
''It still looks good.'' He ran his hand through my hair, still smiling. ''Well, anyway, I've got you something. It was actually the main reason as to why I asked you to come over, well besides holding you of course, and I forgot about it.''
''Ohh, presents?'' I made a high pitched voice and he laughed. ''There's no need, really.''
''But I insist.'' He flashed that beautiful smile before grabbing my wrist and dragging me with him into his room, where he reached out for his bedside table and got out a white envelope from out of the small drawer. ''Here.''
''Matthew, seriously, you don't have to give me anything.''
''I want to. Just open it, it'll change your mind.''
I sighed, defeated, knowing I wouldn't win, and looked down at the envelope. It seemed strangely familiar for some reason.
As I opened it, I realized why it was so familiar.
Tickets. Concert tickets.
Tickets for MGMT.
And I was so happy, even though I had already bought mine and Alex's the day before.
''Matt- oh my god-''
''You called me Matt!''
''You got me MGMT tickets!''
''Are you happy?''
''Way too much!'' I laughed, looking up at him for the first time since he handed me the envelope. ''Thank you, thank you, thank you!''
Matt's P.O.V.
Anna sounded like a little kid who had just gotten sweets from their grandparents. I felt good, knowing I made someone so happy; knowing I made her so happy.
She murmured 'thank you's for nearly five minutes with her arms wrapped around me, holding me tight, while I chuckled and kissed her head.
It was only when I got a call from George telling me to go down to the studio immediately that I knew shit'd get serious if I didn't. So I told Anna to finish getting ready quickly because we had to go.
''Oh, sorry Matthew, you can leave. I'll make my way home by myself. I'm not coming with you.''
''What? No, you are coming with me.''
''I can't.''
''Why not?''
''...I'll be a bother.''
''Shu'up.''

Anna's P.O.V.
''HEY, WE'RE HERE!'' Matthew yelled as he walked through the doors that lead to the studio, where about ten people with angry faces waited for us.
I was slightly scared (who am I kidding, I was scared shitless) but still amazed. Their studio was this massive abandoned warehouse in the sides of town, and it wasn't as hostile as you'd expect an abandoned warehouse to be. It was really nice. It was carpeted, had paintings and posters on the walls, had massive couches and instruments everywhere, besides the infinite shelves filled with books, films, vinyls and CDs, all separated by age and alphabetical order, of course. And Matthew had told me that just across the street was Bastille's studio, so that'd be fun.
Stepping into the main room, everyone (except maybe for Ross, Hann and George) scowled at Matthew and I, making it seem like we were drug dealers walking into the enemy's coven uninvited (...maybe not. They didn't point guns at us).
''Hey, mates,'' Matthew waved, ignoring their angry faces. ''how are you lot?''
''You are two fucking hours late again, Matthew! And there's another girl with you, again, Matthew! What's happening? Where are you taking your life? What are you doing with it? Is this really what you want? Freaking hell, have some responsibility!''
As what I supposed was either his manager or producer scolded him (but seemed like he was hating both of us at the moment), Ross and George exchanged worried looks with me and each other.
''Uh, just wait a sec, Jerry.'' Ross interrupted, standing up and rushing towards me.
Before I could ask, he was dragging me away to the outside, leaving Matthew and the others, making me wonder what'd happen to the poor guy that was late because of me and me only.
