We arrived at Hann's place at nearly midnight. It was some sort of 'guys' night out' with a few friends, just an intimate reunion because we haven't seen each other in ages due to work -- touring and working on new stuff and all that.

Will, Woody and I welcomed ourselves inside as we could already hear music playing and laughter, besides familiar voices talking a bit too loud, which meant they weren't on their best state of sobriety. We were greeted by the guys from You Me At Six and One Direction. There were others who we invited, but they were all touring -- a shame -- and there were others still to arrive.

Nevertheless, we got ourselves drinks and chatted away, and it was only when I was going to sit down on the couch that I noticed there was a girl there. An actual female, asleep, or passed out -- who knows.

I stared at her for a while, wondering what was I supposed to do (were the guys aware that she was here?), and who was she. I'm pretty sure I've never seen her before, neither have the guys said anything about new girlfriends -- we knew each other's partners and this one wasn't in that group.

When she started stirring I quickly trotted away, so she wouldn't wake up to be faced with a creep staring down at her.

I went back to Woody and George, who were energically talking about drumming. Such a good topic; it's not like their lives already depended on that completely. I don't know if I'd be capable of talking about singing with anyone while on my free time, honestly.

''Hey.'' Matt emerged from the bathroom and greeted me. I smiled as I said hello, and then pondered if I should ask him about the girl laying about on the couch.

'''Ey, Matt?'' I started, taking a sip of beer from my bottle.

''Yeah?''

''Who's-'' Before I could continue with my question, a sneezing session started from somewhere in the room. We all turn back and find the girl rolling on the floor, her hands covering her face as she continued to sneeze.

Quickly Woody trotted over to her and she leaned against his legs and finally calmed down. He started talking to her and she seemed completely lost, until Ross appeared and took her to the kitchen. I looked back at Matt, who had a massive frown plastered on his face, which lead me to believe he wasn't quite fond of this girl.

And my theories were confirmed when I cautiously asked him who she was, and he started cursing and offending her while telling the story, which I could only understand half of, due to the high levels of hate Matt exhaled while talking.

Woody came back and told us what the girl said; frustrated, Matt left, still cursing. I wondered why he hated her so much. From what he had said (if you take off the cursing), she didn't seem like 'a little fucking slag'.

Anna's P.O.V.

Hours have passed and people kept coming into the house. I haven't met anyone else other than the guys from You Me At Six, though. I started feeling a bit suffocated and I wanted to leave, but considering I could barely stand up on my own two feet, I guessed that wouldn't happen.

Throughout the time I've been here, sat in the couch, holding tightly to the red cup filled with cuba libre that either Ross or Hann kept on refilling from time to time for me, I've observed lots of things. Weird things.

Things like guys sitting down by my side and talking to each other about me like if I wasn't there, people falling over the coffee table, Matthew sniffling cocaine on the balcony and then freaking out behind the couch I sat in, someone from some band and that was really, really high trying to talk to me while I just stared at them, scared.

It was just when the first group passed out in the kitchen that I realized how actually fucked I'd be if I took any longer to get home.

Shakily standing up, due to fear and drunkenness, my eyes scanned the room searching for either Ross or Hann, but finding only the guys from Bastille and girls with them, and Josh and Max from YMAS laying on the couch next to me.

I sighed and slowly walked towards the front door, putting on my earphones and letting Paramore's 'Renegade' take my mind off things for a bit.

''Hey, where are you going?''

I turned around to be faced with a girl a few years older than me, with breast-lenght brown hair coloured with blonde highlights, and who seemed to be quite sober. I recognized her as one of the girls that was with Bastille, so I smiled.

''Home.''

''No, you can barely walk, come back in here.''

''No,'' I slowly said when she pulled me back inside. I wriggled from her grip and she looked back at my face. ''I have to go, you don't understand.''

''Where she going, Meg?'' Will asked from the balcony, where they were earlier.

''Home, she says,'' The girl chuckled. ''poor kid.'' She looked back down at me.

''Stop calling me kid! Stop talking about me like I'm not here!'' I sort of yelled and once again tried to get away, this time succeeding. I rushed to the door as the girl yelled.

''Hey, come back here!''

''Let her go, Meg,'' One of the guys said. ''we don't even know her.''
