Laura was laying naked on the bed as Dark put his clothes back on. "You sure you can't stay with me a little while longer? I am sure I can make it worth your while." Laura smirked at Dark. Dark knelt down on the bed and hovered over Laura. Laura shivered. "Cold or excited?" He asked. "Both." She answered. Dark pulled the blankets up over Laura and tucked her in. He leaned down and kissed her deeply and longer than he was planning to. "I would stay if I could. You do make it very hard for me to leave, but I must go." Laura arched her brow. She put her hand between Dark's legs. "Tell me how hard I make it." Dark groaned lustfully. He kissed her once again and then reluctantly pulled away. "I will be back later and we can finish this. I will show you how hard it is then." "Promise?" Dark smiled briefly and snapped his fingers and was gone. Laura groaned to herself. Now she was all hot and bothered and had to wait. Laura finally dragged her ass out of bed, showered and made her way downstairs. He stomach was growling. The house was empty so she went to the kitchen to make a sandwich. Laura sat down with her food and a glass of water. As she went to take the first bite Anti appeared next to her. "Oooh that looks good. Can I have one?" Laura giggled at how he sounded like a child sometimes. She handed him the other half of her sandwich and smiled. He sat down next to her and took a bite. "I never really enjoyed food until now." Anti said with his mouth full. "Swallow before you speak please." Laura giggled rolling her eyes. "I am glad you like it though." She added. "So, you made quiet an impression on Die today." Anti told her. "Really?" "Yeah, he was impressed by your fearlessness with him and how you protected him from Dark. I guess we both owe you for that." "You guys don't owe me anything. Neither one of you did anything wrong. I am not going to let him hurt you for no reason. Especially you. I like having you around. It has been a long time since I had a friend other than Najee and you are a friend that knows my darker side and enjoys it. That is awesome." Anti blushed as he smiled to himself. "Will Die be joining us for dinner?" Laura asked. "I was thinking of making a big meal for everyone." "I can make that happen." Anti assured her. Laura and Anti spent the rest of the day laying about the house talking about one another, getting to know each other better. It was getting later and Laura wanted to start dinner so it would be ready when Dark got home. "Hey you want to come help me prep for dinner?" Laura asked. "I don't know how to cook." Anti said nervously. "Well you are good with a knife, right? You can chop and I will do the cooking." "I can do that." They both walked to the kitchen. Laura pulled out a bunch of vegetables and explained how she wanted them cut. Anti got to work, slowly at first to make sure they were exactly how she wanted and then he started chopping away at a much faster speed. Laura watched him for a minute. He looked like he was really enjoying himself. They spent about forty minute in the kitchen prepping and preparing everything for dinner. Laura put the veggies and the roast in the oven along with the potatoes. She set different times as to keep track of each thing. "You did really good chopping. Thank you for your help." "No problem. This was fun." "I could tell you were enjoying yourself. It was written all over your face." Anti turned away so Laura couldn't see him blush again. He really wished he could stop that reaction from happening but he couldn't control it. "You know what this big old house needs? Some music. It is so friggin quiet in here. It is very unsettling sometimes." Laura said. "I can take care of that." Anti snapped his fingers and then music started filling the room as if there were speakers in the walls. Laura didn't know where it was coming from but she didn't really care either. Laura listened to the song. I know this song. I haven't heard this song in years. Laura sang along and swayed from side to side as she cleaned up the mess they had made. Song after song had come on and Laura and Anti danced and sang along to every one. Dinner was almost done and that is when Die decided to join them. "Just in time. Dinner will be done soon. Can you set the table for me?" Laura asked. Die stood there for a minute not sure what to do. He hesitated but then did as he was asked. "What's with the music?" He asked. "Anti did it for me. It was to quiet in here. You don't like music?" "It is not that I don't like it, I just never really thought about it." "Well I love it." A new song came on and Laura gasped. This song used to be my favorite!" Anti made it louder. The guys knew it as well and they were all singing along when Dark walked in. Anti was in the middle of drying off the utensils they had just used and Die was laying down the last plate. They both froze when they saw him standing there. Laura was facing the stove lost in the song until the music stopped. "What the?" She turned to see Dark there. Her face brightened and she ran to him jumping into his arms wrapping her arms around his neck. "Oh good your home. Just in time. Dinner is done." Laura gave him a quick kiss before letting him go. "Why don't you go change and I will get everyone served." She turned from him and went back to what she was doing. Anti and Die were still frozen in place staring at Dark waiting to see what he was going to do next. He nodded slightly at them and walked upstairs. They both exhaled not realizing they had been holding their breath and finished what they had started. Laura pulled the food out of the oven. She let the roast rest as she made the gravy. She poured glasses of water for everyone and then cut the meat. She plated the food and set it down in front of each of them. They all smiled kindly at her as she sat down at the table. "So what was with the music?" Dark asked. Laura grunted and rolled her eyes. "Not you too? Why does everyone have an issue with music?" "I don't have an issue with it. It is just not something I am used to." "Let me guess you are into classical music if you were to listen to any right?" "What is wrong with classical?" He asked. "Nothing at all. I can just tell that would be your type of music. If you want I will only play it when you are not here if that makes you feel better." Dark opened his mouth to say something but stopped himself. He took a minute and then spoke. "If you like it then you can play it whenever you want." Laura saw the reactions of Anti and Die but didn't want to bring attention to them. She just smiled at Dark. "You're the best. Love you babe." Laura blew him a kiss across the table. Dark smirked. Dark, Die, and Anti chatted about stuff that Laura didn't understand but she didn't ask any questions. She just let them talk while she ate and listened. After dinner Laura cleaned up the plates and Anti offered to wash them again. "Are you sure?" Laura asked. "Yeah, I will make Die help." Anti insisted. "Why the fuck would I help you do that?" Die scoffed. "Because ass, Laura went to all that trouble to make this meal for you the least you can do is clean up." "Ugh! Fine." Laura giggled at their behavior. It was like watching two brothers argue. Laura followed Dark upstairs. "Are we going out tonight?" Laura asked. "You want to hunt that badly? This is the third time you have asked." Dark inquired. "I miss being out there causing chaos and mayhem with you. It is so much fun." Laura stopped and raised an eyebrow. "Unless you want to pick up where we left off this afternoon." She smiled devilishly at him. Dark pulled her close to him. He kissed her neck. "Let's go play for a while and then I will show you how hard it was for me to leave you this afternoon." Laura snickered biting her bottom lip. "Let's go."
