The next morning Dark woke her up early. "Morning princess. I have to go. I didn't want to leave without telling you." Laura smiled sleepily at him. "Try not to worry to much about me today. I love you." "I make no promises. I love you too." "That's twice." "What's twice?" "You made a joke." "Me never." "HA! That's three." "Go back to sleep. I will be home later." Dark leaned down and kissed her forehead before disappearing. Laura rolled over and fell back to sleep. It was about an hour later when she finally woke up and made her way downstairs. Anti was hanging out at the table in the kitchen. "Good morning." Laura said with a yawn. "Good morning." Anti replied. He had a weird grin on his face. "What are you so happy about?" Laura asked. "Oh nothing." He said. Laura ruffled his hair as she walked by him. She liked the little happy sound he made every time she did that. It was almost a purring sound. Laura walked over to the cabinet and pulled out two coffee mugs. She then went to the coffee pot and stopped. She turned towards Anti. "Did you make coffee?" Laura asked surprised. "I did." Anti answered with his chest puffed out, obviously proud of himself. "Thank you." Laura filled both mugs and sat at the table with Anti. "I wanted to do something nice for you. I have been watching you make it every morning since you got here so I have been paying attention these past few times." "You are too sweet. I appreciate it." Laura took a long sip and hummed happily. "So what is the plan for today? Are we going out today? Some murder and mayhem?" Laura asked. Laura loved spending time with Anti causing havoc during the day and then hunting, stalking and killing with Dark at night. She was afraid after her stint in the hospital that Dark would not take her out anymore. "We are, we are. I was told however that I need to accompany you while you work out. I hope you don't mind." "I figured as much. I don't mind at all. But first, breakfast." Anti and Laura ate breakfast and then she changed into her work out clothes and headed for the gym. "I can't thank you enough for installing this button that allows me to play my music. I hate working out with earbuds in." "I am happy to help." "Feel free to use any of the machines. It could be fun." Anti scoffed at her. "You never know until you try." She teased. Laura pressed the button before he could argue further and stuck her tongue out at him then smiled. He laughed at her. Laura got on the tread mill and powered it up. She started walking and then picked up speed. She kept increasing the pace until she was at a light jog. When the timer buzzed she moved on to the next machine. She sat on the bench placing her legs on either side. She reached for the W shaped bar and began pulling the bar down, first in front of her and then behind her. Laura moved from machine to machine to machine until she had worked her way through all of them.
