Laura was in her room practicing changing close with a snap of a finger.  After an hour she still could only manage to make her clothes disappear.  Laura threw her hands up in frustration and headed down stairs.  She looked for Anti but couldn't find him anywhere.  "Anti where are you hiding?  I want to train some more."  "I have some things to take care of.  Maybe later."   "Fine."  "Don't be a brat."   Laura stuck out her tongue into the air.  She flopped down on the couch.  Laura looked up at the mirror that Dark gave her.  Maybe I should check on Mark.  Laura stood up and thought about Mark and then dragged her finger along the frame.  Mark appeared.  He looked distressed.  He had his head in his hands, his elbows on the desk.  Then he sat up and looked to the side.  Jack walked in the room.  They looked like they were arguing.  What the fuck is this?  What is happening?  Laura stood up and tried to concentrate.  She snapped her fingers and ended up near the door.  She tried again, and she was outside.  Laura closed her eyes and concentrated really hard and snapped her fingers again.  She opened her eyes and Mark and Jack were staring at her with shocked looks on their faces.  Laura pumped her fists in the air.  "YES!"  She yelled causing the both to jump.  "Sorry guys, didn't mean to scare you."  "What are you doing here?"   Mark asked confused.  "I came to find out what you two are up to."   Laura turned to Jack.  "Hi Jack.  Good to see you again."   Jack snarled at her.   "Awe, are you still salty from the last time we met?"   Laura pouted and then snickered.  "Sorry, we were just having a little fun."  "I did not find it fun."  "Ok, fair enough."   Laura crossed the room towards Jack.  He backed up.  "I am not going to hurt you."   Laura said extending her hand.  Jack looked at her questioningly.  "Ok, ok."   Laura put her hands up in a surrendering motion.  "I didn't properly introduce myself last time.  Probably because I had a knife to my neck.  My name is Laura."  "Laura, what did you mean you came to see what we were up to?"   Mark asked.  "I saw that Jack was here and you two looked like you were arguing and I figured if this one came all the way here to visit you two would not look so tense.  So what is up?"  "What do you mean you saw us?"   Mark asked confused.  "We can always see you.  How do you think Dark always knows when you are doing something wrong?  Like holding my hand in the hospital?"   Mark gasped.  "You were awake?"  "No, Dark told me about it later."  "So are you going to tell me what you two are up to or are you going to keep trying to distract me with questions?"   Jack picked up his tablet and turned it so Laura could see.  "Was this you?"   There was a story on the page about a brutal massacre that took place at an art show gallery.  "Yes, that was us.  It was sort of a wedding reception."   Laura told him.  "All those people."   "Pft, please.  All those rich pompous assholes.  Waste of space they were."  "See Mark, this is what I mean."   Jack turned back to Laura.  "I am not going to allow this to continue.  I am going to find a way to stop you."   Mark jumped out of his chair.  "Sean, relax."   Mark pulled Jack over to the corner of the room.  They were whisper arguing with each other.  "Laura, where are you?"   "I am at Mark's place.  Jack is here.  Something is going on."  Anti appeared next to Laura.  "YOU!"  Jack said as he pushed Mark out of the way.  "Jack a boy."   Anti said as he glitched around him flicking him each time.  Jack swatted him but kept missing.  Anti was cackling like a mad man.  "What?  Not happy to see me?"   Anti taunted.  "Anti stop."   Laura said sternly.  Anti looked at her like a scolded puppy.  Laura walked over to Jack.  "Let me ask you a question.  What do you plan on doing against four demons?"  "I...I w-will figure something out." "Ok, let me ask you another question.  Does being lock in a dungeon, barley eating and getting tortured sound like fun?  Because that is what will happen if you cross these guys.  I just watched Dark incinerate someone close to him from the inside out for hurting me.  What do you think he will do to you if you come at us? He may not kill you but there are far worse thing than death.  I will not allow them to hurt you but if you persist with this quest to destroy us it will be out of my hands."  "Oh yeah, like I would trust you."  "Ok, fair enough, but do you trust Mark?"   "More then, anyone.?"  "Well Mark trusts me.  So, doesn't that hold any weight with you?"  Jack looked back and forth between Laura and Mark.  "Go ahead Mark.  Tell him about the agreement I made with Dark."  "I have already told him."   Mark informed her.  "Has any harm come to you yet?"  "No.  He has kept that promise thus far.  He has not been to see me except when it had to do with Laura."  "Guh, but you are killing people!"  "Yeah, we are demons.  What did you expect?   As long as you leave us be, you don't have to worry.  But if you keep this up you will."   "Did you just threaten me?"  "HA, trust me, you will know it when she threatens you."   Anti interrupted.  "You would know, ass."   Laura shot him a side smile.  She turned her attention back to Jack.  "It is more of a promise.  So please, go home, make your videos and forget about us."  Jack looked over to Anti.  "What about him?"   Jack asked.  Laura turned to Anti.  "Will you stop tormenting him, so he will leave us be?"  "Awe, but it is so much fun."   Anti whined.  "ANTI?"   "Alright, alright.  I will stop popping in to bug you.  For her."   Laura winked at him.  "What do you say Sean?  Let it go?"   Mark asked.  Jack thought about it for minute.  Then he drooped his shoulders and hung his head.  "Fine."   He said angrily.  "Thank you Jack.â€Â Laura said sincerely, in a gentle voice.  Jack looked up at her surprised.   "I know you don't believe me, but I really don't want anything to happen to you.  Like I said when we showed up that first time we never had any intention on hurting you.  We were just having a little fun. So, thank you for listening to me."   Laura walked over to Mark and gave him a hug.  Mark hugged her back.  "It is always good to see you.  Sorry for just popping in unannounced."   Laura giggled.  Mark chuckled.  "I know I said it before, but I am really glad you are alive."   Mark said.  "Thank you.   Laura walked over to Anti.  "So, you got yourself here all by yourself?"   Anti asked.  "I did."   Laura beamed.  "You want to get us home?"  "Let's do it."   Laura closed her eyes and imagined their living room.  She focused really hard on seeing it in her mind.  She grabbed Anti's hand and then snap they were gone, leaving Mark and Jack there staring at each other.  Laura and Anti appeared in their living room.  Laura was smiling from ear to ear.  "Good job.  I am proud of you.  "Thank you.  I happened to see them in the mirror and I knew I need to go check it out, so I just focused all my energy on his place."  "That is great.  We will have to practice that some more tomorrow."   "Sounds good.  If you don't have any business to take care of."   Laura stuck out her tongue.   "Brat."   Anti said.  Laura giggled.  Laura walked over to the mirror and touched it.  Mark and Jack were still standing there looking confused.  Mark sat in his chair and Jack sat as well.  They both started talking to each other, but it didn't look heated at all.  Laura was satisfied that she had gotten through to him.  She snuggled up on the couch with Anti.  "I can't wait till Dark gets home.  I want to show him what I learned today."   Laura said excitedly.  I love seeing you this happy."   Anti smiled sweetly at Laura.  Laura blushed a bit.  "Well it's your fault."   "What do you mean?"  "You're the one who trained me how to do this.  Thank you for that.  It really means a lot to me."  "It's my pleasure."   Anti kissed Laura on the forehead without thinking, then tensed up.  "I am so sorry.  I shouldn't have done that."   He said nervously.  "Relax.  It's fine.  Come here."   Laura rested her head on his chest and wrapped his arms around her.  They laid there in silence until Die came home.  Laura jumped off the couch and gave Die a big hug.  "Do me a favor.  Go wait in the kitchen for me?"  "Ok."   Die agreed, looking confused but he did as she asked and went and stood in the kitchen.  Laura closed her eyes and snapped and appeared right in front of him.  Die smiled at her.  "That is amazing.  You are a fast learner.  It took me weeks to master teleporting.  I even got myself stuck in a wall once."   Laura laughed at that thought.  The three sat in the living room chatting as Laura told Die about what happened that day.  Dark came home shortly after.  "Well we will leave you two alone."   Anti said as him an Die left the room.  "What was that all about?"   Dark asked.  "I have a surprise for you."   Laura said excitedly.  She took a hold of Dark's arm and closed her eyes tight.  Dark looked curious but didn't speak.  Laura snapped her fingers and they appeared in her favorite park.  Dark looked at Laura with pride.  "That's my princess."   Laura kissed him lovingly.  They sat on one of the benches in front of the large pond with a fish sculpture in the middle that was also a water fountain.  The pond was lined with white lights.  Laura loved the way the light reflected off of the water.  Dark loved watching Laura gaze in wonder.  The park was empty so they were all alone. They sat on the bench holding hands.  Laura had her head on Dark's shoulder.  It was so nice.  After a while Dark finally spoke.  "Well this was an excellent surprise.  Now I have one for you."   Laura perked up.  Dark teleported them back to the house and Laura found herself in another large room that she had never been in.  The room was massive with paintings lining the walls.  There was a grand piano in the corner of the room. The drapes that hung on the windows were ivory with a thin gold design, but the chandelier is what got Laura's attention the most.  It was absolutely gorgeous.  There were three tiers of metal that had crystal droplets hanging from each layer.  The etching of each droplet made the light reflect off the floor in the most mesmerizing way.  "What is this room?  It is stunning."   Dark walked over to the piano and flipped a switch.   Beethoven's Waltz in E flat started playing.  Dark approached Laura with his arm extended.  "May I have this dance my lady?"   Laura smiled and took his hand.  "To answer your question.  This is our ball room.  I promised you that we could dance every day like we did last night, didn't I?"   Laura and Dark spun around the room dancing.  Laura felt so carefree and in love at that moment.  "It just keeps getting better and better."   At dinner Laura was still glowing.  Anti was smiling watching her.  "So, I take it you like the surprise?"  "You knew about it?"  "I did.   I love it.  You will have to dance with me sometimes.  You too Die.  You were pretty light on your feet the other night."   Laura winked at him.  They all chuckled at that.   While they were cleaning up after dinner Anti made his way over to Laura.  "Did you tell Dark about Jack?"  Anti whispered I don't want to ruin a perfect night."   Anti nodded.  When Laura and Dark were upstairs for the night Laura flopped down on the bed with the biggest smile.  "You know if you had told me a year ago that I would be this happy I would have told you to fuck off.  There is no way I could have imagined feeling like this.  I was so miserable, so angry.  I felt worthless and alone.  I was just kind of drifting through life."   "You will never feel miserable, worthless or alone ever again as long as you are with me."   Dark assured her.  "I know."   Laura rolled over, so she was face to face with Dark.  "And I love you for it."   She kissed him gently.  Dark wrapped his arms around her pulling her close and kissed her back not so gently.  Laura snapped their clothes off.  "This is all I can manage. I practiced for ever today.  Don't judge.  Now show me how not miserable, worthless and alone I am."   Laura teased as she pulled him on top of her.
