Dark appeared in the living room in the largest, darkest cloud of smoke ever. His entrance shook the walls of the house. "LAURA! LAURA WHERE ARE YOU?" Dark's voice boomed throughout every room. Dark ran from room to room. He kicked down Wilford's door. Nothing. No one was in the house. "Laura, I am here. Tell me where you are?" "I don't know. We are in a dark room. It is cold and I am chained to the wall." "WHAT?!" "Owe, Dark, that was loud in my head." "I am sorry. I have searched the house, no one is here." "Anti says we are in the dungeon." "Fuck! I am coming for you." Dark entered his office and pulled a book off of the shelf and the book case opened to reveal a large wrought gate in front of a massive oak wood door. Dark entered a code on the keypad and the door opened. He dashed down the stairs. The dungeon was a maze of catacombs and rooms. This was going to be almost impossible. Dark made his way from room to room tearing down door after door. Two of the rooms had prisoners in there that took this opportunity to escape and Dark didn't even care he just let them go.

Laura and Anti were still clinging together on the bed. Laura told Anti that Dark was on his way. Anti knew that the dungeon was not easy to navigate unless you knew exactly where you were going. All he could do was hope that Dark got to them before Wilford did. Laura had finally stopped crying and Anti was stroking her hair to calm her. It was then they both heard a noise at the door. Laura sat up. "Dark!" She yelled. "Is that you?" The door swung open and both Laura and Anti squinted against eyes from the bright light. There was a silhouette standing in the doorway. Laura knew immediately that it was not Dark. "Sorry to disappoint you there darling." Laura shrunk back against Anti who still had his arms wrapped around her. Wilford turned on the lights in the room and Anti and Laura shielded their eyes. "Atta boy. I knew you would make your move eventually?" Wilford said with a wink. "What is all this? Why do you have us in here?" Anti asked. Wilford took a couple steps into the room and Anti sat in front of Laura protectively. "Look at you. Look at what she has made you become. Pathetic!" Wilford said spitting out that last word. "She has made you week, soft. I am going to remind all of you what you really are. I am going to get my friends back." "You never lost your friends. We didn't go anywhere. We have always been right here. You are the one who disappears for months on end. Pop in for a day or two and then off again." "You all think I am less then you because I am not a demon. My best friend even treats me different and now a girl...AGAIN!" "Will..." Anti didn't get to finish his sentence because Wilford had pulled him from the bed. He was holding Anti up by his shirt. "I swore that I would never let a girl come between us again!" Wilford whaled. Anti grabbed onto Wilford's wrists and kicked his knees out. Laura saw Anti's eyes glow green as he attacked Wilford. Then Anti screamed in pain as he grasped his neck and fell to the floor. "ANTI!!" Laura screamed. Wilford had backed himself up against the wall. He had pulled a little remote out of his pocket. "Stop it you son of a bitch!" Laura was past the point of being polite anymore. If she managed to get this chains of she was going to kill him. "Ah now there is the little bitch I have been waiting for." Laura looked shocked. "What the fuck are you talking about?" "I knew you were not some little submissive sweet thing like you had been acting." "Yeah and I told you that over coffee. I didn't know how to act around you. Maybe I should have come out guns blazing right off the bat and we wouldn't be here right now. I tell you one thing. You take these chains off of me and I will show you my true nature. So what do you say. Huh Willy? Gonna let me go and see what I am made of?" Laura taunted. Wilford walked over to the bed and back handed Laura across the face. Laura's head snapped to the side. Wilford let out a satisfied laugh until he heard Laura laughing. She turned her head back to face him blood dripping from her lip. She had a crazed look in her eyes. "You know, I don't usually like to torture and kill men but for you I will make an exception." Laura spit out the blood on the floor. Just then Anti lunged at Wilford from behind knocking the remote out of his hand. It slid across the floor. The two fought, slamming each other into the walls. Laura wished Dark was here. "Dark where are you? Anti and Wilford are fighting right now but I a still chained to the wall. Please hurry." "I am in the catacombs, it is like a maze down here if you don't know exactly where you are going. I need you to scream so I can find you." Laura took a deep breath and let out a blood curdling scream. She screamed until she was out of breath. Both Anti and Wilford had stopped fighting startled by her. "Let me out of these chains!" Laura ordered as she pulled as hard as she could against the cuffs. "You are in no position to be giving orders girly." Anti punched him. They started fighting again. Dark suddenly appeared in the door way. He saw the two fighting but ran to Laura. He ripped the chains from the wall and broke the cuffs from her wrists. The noise started Wilford and Anti got one really good punch knocking him to the floor. Dark took Laura's face in his hands and as soon as he saw the blood on her lips and the bruise that was starting to form on her face the rage took over. His eyes started glowing red and he got up off of the bed. In a flash he had Wilford pinned against the wall inches off of the ground. "Give me one good reason why I should not kill you right now?" Dark growled. "It is happening again. You are letting a woman split us apart again." Wilford spoke in a sad weak voice. Dark dropped Wilford so he was standing on his own. "I have been watching you since I got back. You are acting all happy and in love. The four of you sitting around the dinner table like a happy little family. Did you forget you are all demons? I couldn't have that happy family. You took that away from me. So why should you have that now?" "I have lived with the guilt of what I did to you all those years ago. I have tolerated your insanity. You are my best friend. You always will be. But this is different. She is different. I was going to hide her away from you because I knew you would not take it well but she is the one that convinced me to let you in. She wanted to try to make you like her. But you can't get out of your own head. So now we have come to this." Dark picked Wilford back up against the wall. "I should kill you where you stand just for laying your hands on her but I will give you the choice. Either you are banished from the house and our lives forever or I kill you where you stand." Dark's voice had gotten low and it echoed off the wall giving Laura chills. She could see tears streaming down Wilford's face. "I would rather die than live in exile from the only friend I have ever had." Wilford looked completely defeated. Dark pulled his arm back to strike. "WAIT!" Laura jumped off the bed. "Dark, don't do this." Laura placed one hand on his arm and the other on his chest. "Look at him. Look at how lost he is." "But he hit you. For that alone I should kill him." "Ok but you need to think about the motivation behind why he did this." Wilford had an expression of pure confusion across his face. "He is worried I am changing you. He is not wrong. But remember he has not been here the whole time I have. I think he is worried that I will pull you away from him. Please put him down." Dark slowly lowered him to the ground. Laura turned to Wilford. "I don't know what happened between you two. It is not my business. You have figure out a way to work through it and forgive. You are so worried about me pulling him away from you that you don't realize that you have been pushing him away all this time. You are holding onto whatever he did to you and have been letting that keep a wedge between your friendship. I don't want to take him away from you. I have been doing nothing but trying to include you all this time. I like being here. I like the life that we have started to build. You need to ask yourself if you want to be a part of that or not. We can be the family that you so desperately crave. You can have your best friend that you have been longing for all this time. It is your choice." Wilford looked at Dark. "I see why you chose her." He then looked at Laura. "You have got to be either absolutely fearless or very very stupid. For getting in the middle of us that like you did." Laura could feel Dark tense up. She pressed her hand harder against his chest. She placed her other hand on Wilford's " He wasn't expecting and sucked in a quick breath. "I don't think it is either. I can just see right through you. I am not going to let Dark banish you out of your home because you are hurting, and I am not going to let him kill you for it either." "Darling, I don't know what to say." "Say that you will be able to live with all of us without having to worry about you abducting us and chaining us to walls." "Laura there is no way he can be trusted after all of this." Dark stated. "Keys." Laura said to Wilford as she held out her hand. He raised an eyebrow. "Come on Willy, hand them over." "I don't like being called that." "Well to bad. I don't like being called darling so you are just going to have to get used to it. Now keys." Wilford reached into his pocket and pulled out the small key ring and handed it to her. Laura walked over to Anti who was standing by the door. "Are you alright?" She asked, smoothing his hair out of his face. "Yeah lass, never been better." She smiled at him. "Turn around." He did and Laura unlocked the collar and let it drop to the floor. Anti rubbed his neck. She placed the keys in his hands. "Where is Die?" Laura asked. Wilford gave her his location. "Go get him." Laura said and Anti glitched and was gone. Laura walked back over to Dark and Wilford. Dark still had him by the shirt but at least his arm was down, no longer threatening to punch him. "So, is there a way we are going to work this out?" Laura asked Wilford. "Don't I remember you threatening to kill me if you got loose?" Wilford asked. Laura scoffed. "I have threatened each of the guys at least once. I was pissed at you for this, after all I tried to do but I didn't understand at that moment. I do now. I will not kill you unless you give me good reason to. Laura winked at him. Wilford gave her a genuine smile. Laura turned to Dark. She put both hands on his chest. "Dark, let him go." Dark never took his eyes off of Wilford and kept a grip on his shirt. "Dark, look at me." Laura said a bit more assertively. Dark finally met her gaze. "Please let him go." Laura placed her hand on his face stroking his cheeks with her thumbs. Dark relaxed his grip on Wilford's shirt. He placed his hands on Laura's shoulders. Just then Laura's eyes went wide with shock and terror. Dark didn't understand what was happening. Laura felt a white hot pain in her back. She looked down to see the tip of a knife sticking out of her chest. Dark looked down as well, confusion crossed his face at first and then fear as he saw the blood fall from her mouth. His expression quickly turned to rage. He caught Laura as her knees gave out and placed his hand on Wilford's head. Dark let out a growl that Laura was sure could be heard around the world and Wilford burned from the inside out and collapsed into a pile of ash. Dark's expression went back to fear as he looked at Laura. "I'm s-sorry. I-I s-should have l-listened to you." Laura stuttered spitting out more blood. "No! This is not your fault. Damn It! Laura don't leave me." Dark pleaded. Laura saw tears running down his face. She didn't think that was possible. "NOOOOOO!" Anti screamed as he glitched him and Die into the room. "Get Schneep!" Dark ordered. Laura was gripping onto to Dark's jacket for dear life. She could feel the fog started to take over. There was no more pain, just cold. Dark was holding her close which was good because she could no longer feel her legs. "Laura! Laura!" Dark called her name. He could see the life leaving her eyes. "I love you." He said close to her ear as he buried his face in her hair. Laura tried to speak but nothing came out. She tried her hardest to hang on to life but it slipped away from her and everything went black.
