Chapter 11

Keanu and I rushed over to the back of the ambulance but a doctor stopped us from seeing Louis. He held me back and said "mam, you can't be in the back with him, you will have to meet us at the hospital" in a stern voice. I replied in a trembling voice "no, you don't understand he's my son" I saw I quick glimpse of Louis before they shut the back doors, he had blood on his face and a breathing mask. Keanu pulled me back away from the doctor and said "honey, fighting to get back there is going to get you no where. Now let's get in the car and go to the hospital." I agreed.

As I was walking back to the car my knees were shaking. My emotions were seriously off the walls. I was fuming at Jesse. But worried out of my mind for Louis. I got in the car and slammed the door shut. Keanu looked over at me and said in a calming voice "just relax Sandy, I'll take care of Jesse and you can take care of Louis. Okay" I shook my head yes and stared out the window the whole way to the hospital.

Louis arrived about 10 minutes before we did. He was already unloaded and was in a room. I ran over to the elevator and pressed the button about a million times. It seems like it couldn't come fast enough. The doors opened and I immediately ran in. There was people already in the elevator that needed to get out but I pushed myself through the crowd and hit the button that said "floor 2" I took a deep breath and leaned against the elevator walls. Keanu came up and gave me a kiss on my nose and rubbed his hands on my shoulders. His lips made his way from my nose and down to my lips and he started kissing me. He whispered and said "it's been a while since our lips have met and I miss it" I agreed. The door popped open and I jumped away from Keanu as there was a group of people standing there watching. A doctor mumbled as he walked on and said "get a room" I rolled my eyes and stuck up my middle finger as I walked off.

We went to the front desk and asked what room Louis was in. The lady replied and said "he's not excepting any guests right now." I raised my voice with anger and said "what the hell are you talking about. We're his parents. I NEED back there" the lady replied "I'm sorry mam"

Keanu took my hand and forced me into the waiting room. He sat me down and said "we will get back there soon, they are probably just cleaning him up and stuff... Its fine" he asked me if I wanted anything from the vending machine to get my mind off things I said "yes a snickers please" as Keanu went downstairs to the vending machine area a familiar voice said "what are you doing here, Sandy?"
