Chapter 38 "New Begginings"

Sandy's p.o.v

I started gazing the room looking at everyone who showed. I walked up to George, Mathew, Melissa, and my sister and thanked everyone for coming and surprisingly me. I scanned the room and had to take a double take.

"Ryan?"

He started walking toward me and gave me a hug.

"Hi Sandy. Happy birthday" he said looking nervous.Who's that girl your with I said smiling.

"Remember, I took your advice" he said

Ryan took my hand and introduced me to his friend. He said they weren't dating just "talking"

"Monica this is Sandy. Sandy this is Monica" I shook Monica's hand. Hi nice to meet you. She grasped my hand tightly. Something about this women made me feel uncomfortable but I was not about to say anything to Ryan. Not yet.

"Ryan has told me so many wonderful things about you. Happy birthday" she said. Thank you.

Keanu interrupted me carrying Louis. Who's that. He asked. I replied winking and said Ryan's girlfriend. Keanu shook his head and laughed. What did you need I asked concerned grasping Keanu's hand. Keanu turned Louis around and he had smashed cake all over his outfit.

"Louie? What happened?"

He dug his head into Keanu's shoulder afraid I was going to get mad. Come here baby. Mommas not mad. Let's go upstairs and change. I took Louis from Keanu's arms and took him upstairs.

We walked into his bedroom and I opened his drawer filled with freshly cleaned shirts. I held up two and asked Louis to pick one.

"This one" he yelled excitedly.

While I was changing his shirt I asked if he was having fun with the other kids downstairs.

"Oh yes momma. I play wiff these other gurs (girls lol) they are really pretty an nice" he said smiling.

I laughed and told him he better be nice as I pulled down his shirt. Okay now go have fun I said as I kissed him on the forehead.

He rushed downstairs and into the play room with Melissa's girls.

I walked over to Melissa nudging her on the shoulder. I think my son likes one of your girls. I said laughing.

"Well at least I know he'll treat em right" she said laughing.

Our conversation was interrupted by Keanu shouting.

"OKAY. Everyone. We're going to sing happy birthday to Sandy now. Where are you at baby. Don't hide"

I walked through the crowd of people making my way to the cake on the table. I hated all the attention on me and Keanu knew that. Sorry baby, he said kissing me. It's your birthday.

After everyone sang happy birthday I blew out my candles. I knew making a wish was just something people have always done especially kids and I knew they didn't come true but I did it anyway. I wish to be cancer free..

I blew out the candles and everyone started laughing making fun of my age and how many candles there were on the cake.

I'm pretty sure George shouted "jeez Sandy were gonna have to call the fire department from all those candles"

Keanu put his hands around my waist. Happy birthday. He said. Want me to cut you some cake. I smiled jokingly and said "what girl doesn't want cake"

he laughed and walked over to get me a piece.

Louis too. I shouted.

After everyone ate there cake and enjoyed themselves people started leaving.

Melissa was the last one to leave.

"hey Sandy I think I'm going to head out. It's getting late and my girls are getting sleepy"

okay thank you for coming. We will definitely have to get together again soon Louis enjoyed playing with your girls. Melissa shook her head in agreement and handed me a gift.

"Here for you" she insisted.

No no. You take this back. I'm not expecting any gifts.

"Fine I'll give it to Keanu then. I want you to have it Sandy"

I shook my head and walked her outside. Bye I shouted, waving goodbye.

Keanu's p.o.v

I walked outside and saw Sandy standing in the drive way waving good bye to melissa. Her petite little body stood there with her sexy legs and her hair flowing in the wind. I snuck up behind her and warped my arms around her picking her up making her giggle. I turned her around with her feet still off the ground. She wrapped her hands around my neck staring into my eyes smiling.

"I love you" she said softly. her warm breath tickled my cheek as I sat her back down. I unzipped the back of her dress hinting at the fact I wanted to go inside...

She took my hand and pulled me inside throwing me on the couch. She crawled on top of me struggling to take her tight dress off as she kissed my lips.

I laughed and said let me help you baby. Slipping her dress off her small body.

Sandy pressed her hands on my face gripping it tightly kissing me forcefully.

"Feisty tonight?" I asked laughing.

"Shhh just kiss me" she insisted.

In between every kiss she said one word.

"Do"

"You"

"Think"

"Ryan's"

"Girlfriend"

"Acted"

"Odd"

"Tonight"

Nah... just kiss me sandy. She did as I told her and the rest of the night was a blur.
