Chapter 19 Secrets.

Keanu's p.o.v

I rolled over to the sound of my alarm clock going off. It was 4:30 in the morning. I had to get an early start if I wanted to get everything done before this evening. I looked over and saw Sandy sleeping soundly with a bit of drool on her cheek. I laughed quietly and gave her a kiss on her cheek. I threw on my robe and quietly tip toed into the bath room. Brushing my teeth, splashing cold water on my face and changing into Nike shorts a t shirt and some running shoes. I walked downstairs and grabbed a protein bar, a glass of orange juice for breakfast and my keys off the hook. As I was pulling out of the driveway I saw Sandy standing outside on the front porch in her robe and night gown with her hands thrown up in the air like "what the hell" I sighed hoping she would see the note I left on the counter.

Sandy's p.o.v

Where the hell is Keanu going at 5:00 in the morning. I questioned. I slammed the front door and walked into the kitchen to get a cup of coffee. I noticed a note on a sticky note. It said

"Good morning baby. I had to get an early start this morning. Boss wanted me in the office and I have a couple of places to go myself. Text me when you get up. Love you"

I crumbled up the note and threw it in the trash can as I rolled my eyes. I pulled out all the pots and pans and started making a big breakfast. Eggs, pancakes, bacon, toast, biscuits and gravy. Keanu's favorite...

Keanu's p.o.v

I turned the knob and turned the volume up to the music. It was the song I sang to Sandy on our wedding day. Not many people know this but I'm a decent singer... I laughed aloud. I started singing and had a flashback to our special day. I remember Sandy in that white dress that flowed so perfectly. I remember wiping tears off her face as I sang.

I swerved quickly. Avoiding hitting the car that honked. I was so side tracked thinking about our wedding day I wasn't paying attention to the road. "Idiot" I mumbled.

I picked up my phone sitting in the cup holder and dialed Cheryl's number, Sandy's publicist has been super helpful with the whole "surprise renewing wedding vows thing" she's helped me with calling the wedding dress designer and getting a cake ordered and decorating and everything. She knew what Sandy liked so that was a big help. The wedding was in one week from today and there was still a lot to get done. But today I was going to a jeweler to pick her out a new ring.

I pulled up infront of the jewelry store and sat in the car. I just realized "the fucking paparazzi" there pictures will be everywhere of me walking Into a jewelry store. I had no other choice. So I quickly got out of the car covering my face and running into the store. I sighed as I finally got into the door. A jeweler greeted me and asked what he could help me with today. I told him the whole story and what I was looking for and he took me over to the wedding rings. I looked for a good thirty minutes. I wanted to make sure Sandy would love it. I finally found the perfect one. It was a circular diamond with little diamonds around it. It was beautiful and I could see Sandy wearing it. I walked out to the car, pulled out the ring and held it in my fingers and smiled. I couldn't wait to renew our vows I thought to myself. I closed the box and drove back home.
