Chapter 20 Family pictures?

Keanu's p.o.v

Today is the day... I said to myself as I woke up. The sun was shining through the window. The birds were chirping and my beautiful wife was laying next to me in bed. How much better could it get?

I laid and stared at the ceiling. Thinking about everything. Hoping everything would go perfectly and smoothly. I knew Cheryl was taking care of everything for me, and I knew she would keep everything under control. The plan was to tell Sandy were having pictures taken on the beach, so she doesn't question why were all dressed up. And once we get there and walk over the board walk all our family will be sitting in chairs waiting for Sandy to walk down the isle. I couldn't wait to see her face.

Sandy began to stir and wake up. I moved close to her and wrapped my arms around her. Good morning beautiful I whispered as I kissed her on the forehead. She smiled and rolled over and barried her head in the pillow saying "I have morning breathe" I replied and said I don't care just kiss me. She rolled over and gave me three light kisses and got out of bed to brush her teeth. I sat up and said so today were getting family pictures taken on the beach and I wanted to surprise you with something. She smirked with confusion. I said wait here. I'll be right back. I went downstairs and got Louis. He was watching his morning cartoons as he drank his orange juice. "Come here bud" I said "we have to give momma her present" he smiled ear to ear and quickly got off the couch.

I got Sandy's dress out of the hall closet and Louis's tux. I put Louis in his tux and lavender purple tie and I gave him the box that had Sandy's dress in it and told him to go upstairs and give it to momma. He smiled and ran upstairs. "MOMMA MOMMA" Louis yelled from down the hall an into our bathroom. Sandy laughed loudly. The giddy laugh she makes when she's happy. She put her hand over her mouth and said "well you look handsome. Why you so dressed up?" Louis handed her the box and she slowly opened it. She grabbed the dress and held it up so she could see. She started to tear up. It was a lavender purple dress with sequence detailing that fit tightly and flowed near the bottom. "What's this for" she questioned "for pictures" I replied.

Sandy's p.o.v

Oh my gosh honey. I don't know what to say. You planned all this? Keanu shook his head yes smiling. I kneeled down and put my hands on Louis's shoulders and said "baby, thank you so much. The dress is beautiful. And you look handsome yourself" Louis smiled and said excitedly "I helped daddy pick it out" I kissed his forehead and asked Keanu "so why did you do all this just for family pictures? And why are we getting so dressed up?" Keanu replied and said "I don't know. I just wanted to do something special" I couldn't argue so I carried my dress into the closet and hung it up in a safe place.

"What do my boys want for breakfast?" I asked. Louis looked down and shouted "pancakes" i giggled and said "okay well first you have to take off you tux. You don't want any syrup on it do you?" He shook his head no and ran off into his room to change. I walked over to Keanu. He was sitting on the bed watching the football game. I crawled up into his lap and he wrapped his hands around me. "Thank you for doing this. I wasn't expecting it at all. Although I was becoming suspicious with you being gone more than normal" he laughed and said "yeah, well I got this dress made specially for you and I knew you have been wanting some updated family pictures so I thought why not?" I giggled and kiss his neck slowly. Keanu started unbuttoning my shirt. It was actually Keanu's but I liked to sleep In them. I pushed away and said "no baby, not now. I have to make breakfast and Louis is in a couple doors down" Keanu sighed and said "okay"

"Breakfast" I yelled from downstairs. Both boys were upstairs watching foot ball in the bedroom. Neither of them came down. "Breakfast" I shouted again a bit louder. -no response. I went upstairs and found them both asleep. Louis was curled up next to Keanu and it was one of the cutest things I've seen. I quickly grabbed my phone and took a couple pictures. "Aww how cute are they" I mumbled to myself. But breakfast is going to get cold "WAKE UP BOYS, your breakfast is done" they both jumped up from a dead sleep. "You both are treated like kings around here" I said as I walked back downstairs.

Keanu's p.o.v

Sandy and Louis were already down stairs. I rolled out of bed and saw 2 texts from Jesse. "What the hell is he texting me for" I said aloud. I slid open my phone and read the texts

Jesse: so I heard about the surprise vow renewal for Sandy.

Jesse: why wasn't I invited? Guess I'm going to have to tell her...

I threw my phone down on the ground and said "he wouldn't. Why would he spoil this for Sandy... I didn't invite him because I thought he was still in jail and I thought he hated this whole family. He's bipolar" about that time I heard the doorbell ring. "Shit" I said as I ran out of the bed room.

Sandy's p.o.v

I walked over to the door and opened it. "Hi, Jesse? What are you doing here"

"Just thought I'd stop by" he said as he forced himself in the door. "Wow wait, I don't think it's a good idea for you to come in. Remember what happened last time? You even said you hated my family so I think you should go"

Jesses p.o.v

I wasn't going to let Sandy have this wedding. I missed her and Louis and I wanted her for myself. I had to prove to her I've changed and make her forget about Keanu and want me back. I pushed Sandy up against the wall and pressed my lips against hers. As I was kissing her she tried to squirm away. I grasped her tighter and said "I want you"

Sandy's p.o.v

I tried to get away from Jesse but he was grasping me so tightly I couldn't move a muscle. I was tripping on my heels that I had left by the front door last night as he was pushing me up against the wall. I was hoping Keanu would come down before Jesse tried to do something harmful. With the breath I did get I yelled "Louis honey, go upstairs" Louis could not see Jesse kissing me and definitely being aggressive with me. He started whispering in my ear saying things like "I love you & take me back & I'm sorry" I knew it was all bull. I smelt alcohol on his breathe and it took be back to the days when we were together. He was always drinking and it just progressively got worse as the years gone on. He needs help. He's becoming harmful and he CANOT be around my family. Jesse slowly started to try to unbutton my shirt but I jerked away from him before he could. He said "what's wrong baby you don't want me" I said "no I don't want you and don't call me baby" I could tell he didn't like what I said and he started to become more aggressive with me. He put his hands around my neck and started to squeeze. With the little bit of air I still had I managed to yell "KEANU HELP"

Keanu's p.o.v

I ran out of the bedroom and looked over the banister to find Jesse squeezing Sandy's neck. Sandy's face started to turn color and I could tell she couldn't breathe. I ran down the stairs jerked Jesses hands away from Sandy's neck and said...

"GET THE HELL OUT OF MY HOUSE AND NEVER LAY YOUR HANDS ON MY WIFE AGAIN"
