Chapter 36 "I Miss My Old Mommy"

Sandy's p.o.v

Ryan and I walked over to the kitchen table. Keanu had already set the table and the food was minutes from being done. Smells delicious honey. I said as I walked over into the kitchen rubbing Keanu's back. I love you. I whispered. Thank you for doing this. Ryan deserved to know and I shouldn't have kept it from him. And thank you for being okay with the fact that he's here.

"Of course I'm okay with him being here. I know he's a good friend of yours and it was my fault I over reacted."

He gave me a light kiss on the nose and told me he was going to go get Louis from upstairs.

Keanu's p.o.v

I walked upstairs and down the hallway into Louis's room. I peeked my head inside the door and listened to his conversation he was having with his stuffed animals and toys.

"I think mommys sick. She doesn't hug and kiss me and play with me anymore. I miss my old mommy. And I hope she gets better soon because I miss her kisses"

My heart sank.

I quickly ran down the stairs and pulled Sandy aside. Sandy, Louis was talking to his stuffed animals and he said he misses his old mommy. He said you don't play and hug and kiss him anymore.

The look on Sandy's face looked like someone had died right in front of her. Tears started to come to her eyes. Shhh don't cry Sandy. Just go talk to him and tell him how much you love him. Okay? Sandy shook her head yes and walked upstairs.

Sandy's p.o.v

I peeked inside Louis's door. Hi baby. Can mommy play Legos with you? When I asked his face lightened up with in seconds. He responded smiling handing me a Lego. I sat down on the floor next to him. I love you baby. I hope you know that. I know mommy hasn't been playing with you much and I'm sorry. Mommys just really sick right now. But when I get better I'll be able to run and play with you more. Okay? Louis shook his head yes and stood up and said

Momma I'm hungry

Good. I said as I picked him up. Dinners done. As I carried him down the stairs I whispered and told him to go give Ryan a big hug. So he did as he was told and ran over to Ryan wrapping his hands around his neck.

Hi little man. Ryan said. Are you hungry?

Louis giggled and rubbed his belly. "YES" he shouted.

He climbed up into the chair and waited patiently for his food.

Keanu's p.o.v

Here you go little man. I said as I sat a plate of food down in front of him.

"Time to pray" Louis shouted.

Everyone bowed there heads as Louis said his prayer

"Thank you Jesus for this day. Thank you for mommy and daddy and food and Legos. Amen"

Everyone looked up and started to giggle.

"Good job baby that was an amazing prayer" Sandy said smiling.

After everyone was finished eating Ryan said he should get going. I took Ryan's plate from his hand and walked over into the kitchen as Sandy walked him out.

Sandy's p.o.v

Thanks for coming over and having dinner and I'm sorry I didn't tell you before now. Ryan hushed me and said "it's okay, this information is hard to handle so I understand you weren't ready. And I'm going to go out and date. I'm going to take your advice. Thank you Sandy" he gave me a light kiss on the cheek and left.

I shut the door behind me and tuned around to see Keanu standing inches away from me. He pulled me in close kissing me softly. I love you Sandy. He whispered. Thanks for dinner I said as I wrapped my hands around his abs. Keanu pushed me up against the wall and pulled my shirt up slowing. I giggled softly trying to push Keanu off. "Honey, Louis is going to walk over here. You have to stop" Keanu laughed and said "I can't stop now. I've already started" I slipped away from Keanu and ran toward the stairs.

"Damn it.. God this is ridiculous. I can't even run 10 steps without feeling like I'm going to pass out"

"What's wrong momma" Louis asked from the table.

Mommas just getting old. That's all. I said laughing.

Keanu wrapped his arms around my tiny waste and said baby your not old. I turned around laughing. Stop I said. I'm clearly old. I'm 50.. Well at least going too.

More like 25 he replied.

Come on baby. Let's go upstairs and take a bath. I said as I motioned Louis upstairs.

"BATH TIME" Louis shouted as he ran upstairs and into my bathroom.

He undressed himself and hoped in the bathtub turning on the water and squirting bubble bath. I gave Louis his bath toys and let him play for about 10 minutes. After I washed him off and washed his hair I wrapped a towel around his little body and carried him into the bed room. I rubbed some lotion on his soft skin and put his pjs on him.

Bed time. I said.

His face looked puzzled when I said bedtime. You gotta get up bright and early for school so you have to get some sleep. He finally agreed. Keanu and I both gave him a kiss good night and I carried him into his bedroom and shut the door.

"Love you momma"

I love you too baby.
