"Hey!" Jonah cheers, running into my room.

"What's up?" I ask, looking up from the quadratic equations on my paper.

"Wanna go somewhere?" He asks, a mischievous twinkle in his eye.

"Do you even know me?" I ask with a chuckle, grabbing a jacket and slinging it on. "Where to?"

"It's a secret," he says, giggling like an idiot. He grabs my hand and we race down the stairs. "MRS. THOMPSON! I'M GONNA BORROW AMBER!" He shouts to mom as we leave.

"Don't worry! I know all about the plan!" She shouts back, making me wonder what's happening.

Confusion clouds my brain as the car starts and we go to a destination unknown to me. I sigh and decide to trust them. Especially since my mom knows about it. I slowly feel my eyelids droop down as time flies by with scenery.

"Amber," Jonah says, shaking my shoulder, "wake up."

I wake up, rubbing my eyes. I feel myself being led to an unfamiliar building.

"What's happening?" I ask, still a little groggy. "Is this—"

"Yeah, it is," Jonah says as we walk into an almost perfect replica of my room before moving here. "I figured that you missed your old home so I decided to make a replica. I know, it's kinda dumb. You just seemed so sad knowing that we'd all leave each other for college. I just wanted to make sure you know that your past is still there, it's just not your present anymore. We'll all still be friends. This town will still be your home, it just won't be your current home."
