I run into my room and slam my papers on the floor. I can't believe Mason and I just got in a fight. He was partially right though. I need to decide if I like Jacob or not, it's not fair to him. I decide the only way to figure it out is to hang out with Jacob. I know Mason won't like it but it's what I need to do. I pull out my spanish pre-test and my phone. When I turn on my phone I have a ton of texts from Mason of him apologizing.
I ignore his texts and text Jacob:
Hey it's Emily.
Five minutes later he replies:
Hi. Are you doing anything tomorrow?
I text back:
Nope.
He quickly replies:
Can we hangout?
I text back:
Sure.
I give him my address and he says he will pick me up at noon. He won't tell me where we are going only that I should wear shorts and tennis shoes.
I spend the rest of the evening thinking. What am I going to do. I have to decide. I know I have feelings for Mason but do I have feelings for Jacob too? Why is this so confusing? I guess I will see how tomorrow goes. I go to sleep thinking about what tomorrow holds.
