The next day is a blur. I can't focus on anything but my date tonight. When I finally get home from school. I try to pick out something to wear. While I'm looking through my dresses I come across the pink and white dress I wore at camp. All the memories come flooding back to me. I try to push them out of my head, but it's so difficult. Sometime I wish I would just forget. I finally push the memories out of my head and pick out a blue casual dress. About an hour later, he shows up. He is wearing jeans and a nice button-down shirt. He takes me to a nice diner in town. This night is perfect. We walk out hand in hand. Instead of going to his car we sit on a bench.
"I know it's only been like a week, but I think I love you," he says.
"I think I love you too," I say.
Then his body is pressed against mine and his lips find mine. He pulls me onto his lap.
"I love you Emily," he whisper in my ear.
"I love you Mason," I whisper back.
"It's getting late," he says.
He drives me home, then kisses me goodnight. I thought this night was perfect until I walk into my house.
