I hangout with Jacob for the next few days. Mason still picks me up for school, but I always end up leaving with Jacob. We stargaze, go on picnics, and watch romance movies. Friday comes quickly and I don't have any plans. Jacob is going to stay with his dad for the weekend. In art I ask Mason to drive me home after school. He agrees. In spanish I say goodbye to Jacob for the weekend. He leaves right after school. After class I meet Mason out in the parking lot.
"Ready?" he asks.
"Yeah," I say.
I get in the car and he drives me home. He doesn't ask to hangout. When we get to my house I thank him for the ride and get out of the car.
When I reach my door I hear him yell, "Wait!"
I turn around and he runs over to me.
"Have you already made your decision? Do you choose him? Because I feel like I've already lost you." he says.
I don't know how to respond. Have I made my decision? I decide I haven't made my decision.
I tell him,"You haven't lost me yet. I haven't made my decision. I'm still.."
He cuts me off by kissing me. He pulls me up against him. I jump up and wrap my legs around him without my lips leaving his. He pulls away to catch his breath, then I pull him back in. I put my hands in his hair and his are holding me close to him. I never want this moment to end. He pulls away for a second to whisper, "I love you Emily," in my ear. Inside my head I am thinking I love you too, but I can't get myself to say it. He makes a path on kisses back to my lips. When we have to catch our breath again he puts me down.
"Can we go to the pond?" he asks.
"Can we spend the whole weekend together?" I ask smiling.
"I would love to," he says.
He kisses me one last time and we get back in the car and head to the pond.
