It was 11:45. It was almost noon and almost time for the battle. Sam walked out of the forest and I stayed for a bit longer to wait for Nick and Leo. It was 11:50 and they still hadn't come. I started to sprint towards the park, when a hand grabbed my wrist.
"You're not leaving without me, are you?" A deep voice said.
I'd know that voice anywhere. "Nick!" I turned my head left and right. "Where's Leo?"
"He's back with the pack, trying to figure out a good babysitter until we get back."
It was 11:55, almost noon. Nick and I ran to the park. Me with my vampire speed and him with his wolf speed, which is a little bit slower. We got to the park and Alanna was there.
"Finally you show." She said to me. "Cute outfit" She actually complimented me? "Too bad you'll have to die in it" Nope, it was her way of a threat.
"Yours is nice to. But I'm not the one who's going to die today." I said back. Alanna is wearing all black. Black tank top, black leather pants and black ankle boots.
"Let's get this battle STARTED!" Alanna yelled at the crowd and me.
Half of Parkview were standing around us. My family and friends were there. Nathan and Nick were also there and Leo came. I looked around in the crowd and I couldn't find Sam. Where was he?
Alanna used her magic and created a barrier around us, blocking out the others, so they couldn't get in and interfere, and we couldn't get out. I flew up from the ground and she started to attack me. She used her magic and had flaming balls of fire in her hands. She threw one at me. I didn't see it coming, since I was looking for Sam. Luckily I looked at the right time and barely dodged it. She threw another and another. I kept dodging. I had enough, I had to attack.
I figured I would leave the white orb until later. I used my magic and put my hands in front of me together as if I was making a bird shadow. An ice beam formed in my hands and shot at Alanna. She managed to dodge, but I kept turning around, following her. She landed on the ground and I hit her ankle. It was frozen to the ground.
I was so excited. I actually hit her first. I flew up a little higher and twirled in the air. My skirt twirled out with me. Alanna managed to thaw the ice with her fire quickly and shot an ice ball at me. It hit my wrist and cut it. Blood would've come gushing out, but I didn't have any. I quickly grabbed my wrist with my other hand and winced in pain. I floated down to the ground, but flew right back up.
I tried a different magic. I got my hands at my sides with my palms facing the sky. I pushed my hands towards Alanna and thick green vines headed towards her. They wrapped around her and she was trapped. She couldn't move her arms, or at least that's what I thought. I knew it was time. I put my hands one over another and focused my energy to get the white energy orb. I had it floating in between my hands. I put my one hand back, as if I was going to throw a ball, and aimed it at Alanna.
I was about to throw it when I heard, "Jasmine!" I looked around in the crowd. I kept looking and looking. "Jasmine!" There it was again. I looked in a spot and there he was standing. It was Sam who was calling out my name. I smiled at him and he smiled back. Sam looked at Alanna with a concerned look. Alanna broke free of the vines and shot an ice ball at my head. I was looking at Sam and didn't notice it coming. "Look out!" Sam warned me.
I turned my head around, but it was too late. The ice ball was centimetres from my face and travelling at 90mph. It hit my forehead with a 'thump' and I plummeted down to the ground. I landed on the ground, lying on my back. The ice ball knocked me out cold, but I wasn't dead. My eyes were closed and my brain was playing back memories of the summer. Memories like hanging out with my friends, Nathan, all the good times. It also showed meeting Nick and Leo, also finding out Brandon was my brother and me running away into the clearing.
While I was knocked out, Alanna broke free of the vines. She put down the barrier and was trying to decide which vampire she should kill first. She found Sam and flew over to him. She picked him up by the collar if his shirt and flew up, threatening to kill him. As my memories were being showed, it came to what Alanna was doing to Sam. I was waking up. My eyes were still closed, but I had my right hand at my side, still holding the white orb.
My eyes shot open and I quickly flew up a little bit. I put my hand back to throw the orb. I aimed it and threw it straight at Alanna. She yelled and dropped Sam to cover her eyes. Luckily Sam was a vampire, so he just floated back down to the ground. He looked at me with a look saying do it. I put one hand over another like before and put all my focus on my energy. I only had a few seconds before Alanna could see again. I focused and floating between my hands was the aqua coloured orb.
I flew over to Alanna and once she could see again she looked straight into my eyes and I looked into hers. I had my hand at my side with the orb. I brought my hand towards Alanna's chest and the orb went through her.
"No! No you can't do this!" She said as the orb moved all around through her. "I'm supposed to win!" She yelled.
The orb came out of her and went above her head. I flew down with the ground and landed beside Nathan. Everyone looked up and Alanna started to disintegrate. It took a few seconds, but the energy orb completely disintegrated her. We were free from Alanna and anymore evil she could commit.
