I put on a black cami with a pair of red jean shorts. I went downstairs and saw Nathan watching tv on the couch. He was still dark, so I had to kiss him somehow.

"Hey beautiful." He said looking at me.

"Hey" I smiled and went over to sit beside him.

Mathew woke up and went to the cell door. "Jasmine, Nathan"

We both turned around to look at him. Nathan stared at him and Mathew leaned back a little. "What do you want prisoner?"

"N-nothing" Mathew said shaken. I mouthed the words 'sorry'

We turned back around and I put my head on Nathan's chest. He put his head down a little to kiss my head. I looked up and he kissed me. I guess I didn't have to do it after all. He did it himself. He pulled away and his eyes turned back to his normal colour, which were Caribbean blue. His hair didn't change at all because it was already black.

"Nathan? Are you back?" I asked sitting up.

"Jasmine!" He leaned over and hugged me as I hugged him back. "How did we turn back? Only true love can and we were both dark."

"With this" I held up the necklace that I still held in my hand. "I looked at it and I saw the memory of when Brandon gave it to me last night. He have it to me so I would never forget him, or my parents."

"So he always wanted you to remember him."

"Yea" I smiled then I frowned a little. "I need to spend more time with him. I only found out he was my brother a couple days ago."

"Yea, yea, yea, cute. Now can you please let me out?" Mathew said from inside the cell.

"Oh right. Sorry Matt" Nathan said.

He went and got the keys, then unlocked the cell door. We made our escape and went back home. Mathew went to Lilly to show her that he was alright and Nathan and I went to my house to warn my mom about the attack in five days.

We went through the forest and across the tree bridge. I went across first, then Mathew. When Mathew went across there was a little cracking sound coming from the middle. He made it over and Nathan walked over it next. There was more cracking sounds as he went more towards the middle. Once he was in the complete middle, there was one big crack and he stood still, which was a bad idea. The bridge split in two and Nathan was falling into the ravine.

"Nathan!" I screamed as he fell farther and farther. I was about to cry when he appeared in front of me completely unharmed.

"Did you think I was going to die?" He asked. "You do remember I can fly, right?"

"I wasn't thinking. You were falling to your possible death!"

"I know, I know. I'm sorry" He said putting his arms around me as I buried my face in his chest.

We kept on walking back to Parkview and heard a rustling noise. We sucked down behind a bush and Alanna was wandering through the woods. She didn't notice us at all. Mathew stepped back a little and the snap of a stick breaking made her look our way. Nathan however, quickly flew up, grabbing Mathew. As soon as I saw them, I went up to.

"I think we should fly the rest of the way." Nathan suggested.

"You know I can't fly, right?" Mathew said as Nathan held onto him.

"I thought all vampires could fly" I said.

"Only those who have magic." Nathan explained. "I forgot to tell you that when you first learned that we could fly. Sorry"

We headed back to Parkview and once we got there Mathew went to his house right away to see Lilly, while Nathan and I went back to my house.

We stepped inside the door and my mom was in the living room on the couch, watching tv. I went to the living room to see her.

"Hi mom" I said with a quiet voice.

She looked over at us. "Jasmine!" she ran over and hugged me tightly not letting go. "Nathan" she smiled at him. "How did you change back? You were both dark"

"Well" Nathan went on to explain. "Remember the necklace that Brandon gave her?" My mom nodded. "Well Alanna took it away, but then Jasmine was curious about it. We looked at it today when Alanna was gone and-"

"And my mind showed the memory of Brandon giving me the necklace" I interrupted. "I asked, 'What are the letters for?' And he said, so you never forget who your family is. Justin, Natalie, Brandon and Jasmine."

My mom let go of me and looked at me. My black streak was turning sky blue again, but only half of it changed colour.

"The necklace made your hair change again" Nathan pointed out.

I put my hand on my chest. "I don't have the necklace on me. I put it on the coffee table over there" I pointed to it. "What could've changed it?"

"Love." My mom said. "Love changed it"

"But what about Nathan? He's kissed me a bunch and it hasn't changed"

"Family love."
