Chapter 15: Alanna's Plan

Brandon and I went back to the house. We sat down in the living room and Brandon discussed Alanna's plan to destroy us.

"She's planning to turn you evil again Jasmine" Brandon said.

"How?" I asked.

"She still controls the shadow. Don't forget she still has the amulet."

"How did she get that exactly? Only royal blood can go into the vault." My dad said.

I rose my hand slowly. "I got it."

"Jasmine!" My mom said disappointed.

"Wait, wait. Before you get mad at me, I was dark. I didn't know what I was doing. Alanna told me to get it and I did. I didn't know at the time."

"Anyway. Before she turns Jasmine dark again, she's going to raise an army if humans, which will have a little bit more strength than us." Brandon kept explaining.

"We have to protect them." I exclaimed.

"No Jasmine. You need to go somewhere safe. I'm going to arrange a flight back to Springfield for you and Nathan. " My dad said.

"No! I'm not going to sit back and watch the humans get trapped by Alanna! I want to help!"

"No Jasmine! You go tomorrow morning."

"Daddy no! I'm going to help!"

"Jasmine don't fight. Just go with me. Come on lets go pack your bags." Nathan said.

"Why can't I help! Why do you treat me like a kid!" I yelled.

"Cmon." Nathan held my hand as we went upstairs to my room.

"Why won't they let me help?" I mumbled as I flipped onto my bed with my face in my pillow.

"Just go with it. I have a plan."

"Jasmine. Get out of bed. You need to be at the airport by nine thirty." My mom yelled from downstairs.

It was the next morning. My dad arranged a flight for me to go back to Springfield with Nathan to escape Alanna's little plan. I got out of bed and I went to my closet to get an outfit. I chose the outfit I wore when we first got to Parkview. I wore a black and red striped tights, a black skirt and a red cami. I put my red and black checkered headband in my hair after I brushed it. I grabbed a red suitcase which had nothing in it because if Nathan's plan.

I went downstairs to see Nathan waiting for me on the couch with his empty suitcase. We went to the door and I put my black boots on. When we went outside my dad was waiting in the car. He drove us to the airport and hugged me goodbye, until he saw me again.

"Stay safe daddy." I said shedding a tear.

"I will Jasmine" He said as he left.

"Nice acting" Nathan said to me.

"Thanks"

We went through the baggage check and then to the place we were supposed to be. We waited until my dad was far enough away.

"Cmon lets go" Nathan held my hand and let me outside. "We need to stay out of the sight of your parents."

We went to the park downtown and hung out there for a while to discuss the plan we had. We were on the swings talking, then something came behind us. It put its hand over my mouth. I tried to scream but I couldn't. The hand released and I turned around.

"Brandon what the heck. We have to stop meeting like this?" I yelled.

"Aren't you supposed to be on a plane?" He asked.

"Please don't tell dad" I begged. "If he knows I didn't go, he'll freak. And you don't want to see him when he freaks.

Brandon laughed. "Don't worry. I know what he gets like. So I wont rat you out" He winked. Brandon sat on the swing beside me and leaned over to talk to Nathan. "So what's the plan"

"So where are we taking shelter for the night?" I asked. "We are going to need one"

"Don't worry. We can go to my place" Brandon said. "Don't forget I did run away so I needed my own house."

"But isn't your house in Whiterun?" I asked.

"Exactly why we need to go there. It's out of Parkview and away from Alanna."

"But that takes a day to get there" Nathan said.

"No. Actually it takes like half an hour. When you were looking for the amulet, You took the long way around." Brandon said.

"I knew there was a shorter way. Mathew led us to the amulet, so he must of took us the long way."

"We'd better get going before it turns night" I interrupted.

We headed to Whiterun and came across a ravine with a tree trunk bridge. We came to the gates and the guards stopped us.

"Stop. What is your business here" The guard asked us.

"We wish to return home" Brandon explained.

"Are you working for Alanna?"

"No."

"How can we be sure"

"I swear. We're not with Alanna" I said going in between Brandon and Nathan as Nathan held on to my hand

"Princess" The guard said bowing down before me.

"Uh you don't have to bow. Maybe for my parents but you don't have to for me. I mean you can if you want, but that's totally up to you" I said.

"You may enter" The guard said standing up.

"Thank you" Nathan said still holding my hand as we walked through the gates. And went to Brandon's house.

"Here she is. Breezehome." Brandon said standing in front if the door.

We went inside and there was a fireplace in the middle of the room. In the back there was a table and a kitchen. To the left of the kitchen there was a room, which had a tv and a couch. Up the stairs, which were just infront of the door for the living room, there was two bedrooms. One to the left and one to the right around the corner.

"Where is everyone going to sleep?" I asked.

"Well you can have the bedroom on the right, and Nathan, you can have the one on the left." Brandon said.

"Where will you sleep?" Nathan asked.

"I'm not. I'm going to be lookout. In case Alanna tracked you to here." Brandon explained.

"Well then we should take shifts" I said.

"Nathan and I can take shifts. You need rest. I'm sorry if I'm sounding like dad, but you need the sleep in case Alanna comes."

I sighed. "Fine" I went upstairs to my room.

Why can't I ever help. If they didn't want me to help, they shouldn't have told me what I really was. A vampire princess that has magic.
