It was a bright and warm sunny day. It was the first day of summer, even though I'm home schooled, which I never understood why. My parents always said "it's for your own good." I woke up to the sun shining in my eyes through my blinds on my window. I got out of bed and went to my closet to take out a black skirt and put it on. I then went to my dresser and picked out a red cami and a pair of black and red striped leggings. I brushed my long golden blonde hair and got a red and black checkered head band to put on top of my head, not pulling back any bangs (even though my bangs are as long as the rest of my hair).
I went out of my room and down the hallway to the kitchen, and then to the living room. I picked up my blue iPhone 5C off of the dining table on my way to the living room, then I sat down on the couch. My mom then walked into the living room a few seconds later and sat at the other end of the couch.
"Good morning sweetie" She said lovingly.
"Morning mom" I said not turning my eyes away from my phone.
"Are you all packed for the summer?"
Shoot! I completely forgot we were going to Parkview to visit our family and friends. "Uh...Yea.. I'm packed.. Just got to get a..few more things ready" I stuttered.
I got off the couch and before I left the living room my mom said, "once your father wakes up, we're going to pack the car and leave for the airport, so bring your suitcases out here."
"Will do" I said turning back to her and then walking back to my room.
I got my cyan blue suitcase off of the top shelf of my closet, then went downstairs to the back room to get my lime green suitcase.
"All packed hmm." My mom said jokingly as I walked pas the living room carrying my suitcase.
"Yep" I said smiling with a crooked smile.
I went back to my room and opened the bottoms drawer of my dresser. I took out all of my summer clothes, which was the whole drawer and put it in my cyan blue suitcase. I got my dressy clothes and most of my necklaces, and put them in the lime green suitcase. I put all the necklaces in a Tupperware box and placed them on top. I got my laptop and put it in its case and packed it separately. I went to the bathroom, just down the hall, and got all my toiletries. I packed them in the green suitcase and got the shoes I wanted and packed them. I was done packing.
I sighed in relief. "Well that only took like.." I turned on my phone to look at the time. "Twenty, thirty minutes." I sadly said to myself.
I went back out to the living room while rolling my suitcases and put dragged them downstairs in front of the door. I went back upstairs and got some cereal from the kitchen. I went back to sit on the couch and ate my cereal.
Once I was finished, I put my bowl and spoon in the sink and went to go brush my teeth. My dad walked by the bathroom and I spit into the sink. I went back out and helped my dad pack the car. We packed the car and we were on the road to the airport.

"Would all passengers for flight D11 to Parkview, please head to the gates now. That's all passengers for flight D11, please go to the gates now to board the plane." The flight attendant said into the microphone.
We went to the gates and boarded the plane. We already went through baggage check, so we didn't have any carry ons, except for my laptop. We sat in the seats 12 A, B, and C. I sat in seat A, which was the window seat. It took about ten minutes to get everybody on the plane and then five more minutes for the flight attendants to explain to us what to do in an emergency.
The plane backed out of the 'parking space' and moved to the runway. I put up my window blind and snagged a piece of my skin on something sharp. I looked at it. It was deep, but no blood. It isn't the first time I've noticed it. Whenever I cut myself on something, I never bleed. I've also noticed that I don't have a heart beat and my skin is pale, with not ever getting a tan. One other thing I've noticed is I have fangs. It could just be my regular teeth, or I could possibly be a vampire, but vampires don't exist. My parents said they were, so it would be impossible for me to be a vampire.
I looked out the window and we were getting ready to take off. I couldn't wait. I wanted to be in Parkview to see grandma and grandpa. I also wanted to see my friends, Lilly and her brother Mathew, Roxanne, Ashley and Jerome. I also couldn't wait to see an old family friend, Nathan.

"We are now starting our decent to the Parkview runway. Would everyone please fasten their seatbelt and prepare for landing." The captain said over the PA system.
We landed on the ground and went to get our suitcases. Once we got them, we looked around the airport for my grandparents. We found them and I went over to hug them.
"Hi grandma. Hi grandpa." I exclaimed.
"Hello dear." Grandma said. She looked over at my parents. "Justin, Natalie, so glad you could make it.
"Hi Mom, Dad" My mom said. My dad said the same thing.
We went out to the van and went to the rental house that my grandparents have. As we got inside I went upstairs to get my room. There were three rooms. One for me, one for my parents and a spare. I chose the room with blue walls, birch wood floor with a little blue carpet in front of the bed, which is a white trimmed trundle. The closet was on the left wall from the door and the trundle on the right. There was a window dead centre on the wall across from the door with a desk sitting below it. For my dresser, I had my closet and three drawers built into the trundle.
I unpacked my bags and put all my clothes in my closet or the drawers. I went back downstairs and my grandparents and parents were sitting in the living room talking.
"Hey sweetie. Your grandpa was just saying that there is going to be a party over at their house tonight." My mom told me.
"Sweet. I'll go get changed then." I exclaimed.
I went back upstairs to my room and went to my closet to pick out a cyan blue, strapless mini princess dress. I got out a pair of black flats. I went downstairs and my parents were already changed. It was weird because they never followed me up and I never heard footsteps. I have amazing hearing. I could here someone talking from around ten kilometres away.
We went outside and walked over to my grandparents house.
