TIME AFTER TIME

Billy Hargrove.

Mysterious to everyone he walked by, but his looks and personality definitely showed the confidence you lacked so often.

Ever since you had broken up with Tommy, you had been at a vulnerable spot for quite some time, and Billy saw that and took advantage of it.

He managed to get you, to get you to be his and rub it in everybody's face that you were his. You still felt vulnerable.

"Do you need a smoke?" Billy asked you while you stood outside the school building, collecting your books.

"I don't smoke."

You heard the lighter flick open, lighting the end of the cigarette before flicking closed as he put it away. You could smell the smoke.

"You really should try it sometime. You never know," Billy said, getting close to you, as he gripped your free hand with his. "You might like it."

You nodded softly as he began to walk off towards the building, watching for any guy who set their sights on you.

You looked forward at the menacing building that seemed to taunt you every time you got near it. You had the memories of Tommy still in the back of your mind- while Billy walked next to you.

"Maybe I will." You finally responded.

Billy smiled, laughing loudly as he gripped your hand tighter, pulling you off to the girl's bathroom as the bell rang.

His hands found your waist as he pushed you against the wall, staring at your body with lust in his eyes as you felt all your stuff slide down the wall and onto the floor. You felt weak and little under his gaze.

"You're different, you know that?" Billy asked you, his face close to yours as you nodded. You watched his cigarette bob up and down as he talked.

"I like you."

Those words seemed scary coming out of his mouth, but you couldn't let that show right now.

He took the cigarette out from between his lips, pressing them to yours, as he held the cigarette away from you both.

When he let go, he tossed the cigarette to the ground, stomping it out as you watched him.

He took this opportunity to put both hands on your hips, pulling you towards him as he kept you close.

"I really like you."

That was even scarier.
