STRANGER THINGS 3 SPOILERS AHEAD

"harrington, you're girlfriend is here!" robin called to the back of scoops ahoy as you stood out front. she gave you a smile as you stood with your arms crossed.

"so, how long have you two been dating?" she asked you, seeing your eyes practically glaring at the door that led to the back.

"about a year now," you muttered out.

she gave you another patient smile. "let me just go see where he is."

you nodded, your arms still crossed over your chest. she walked into the back of the room, seeing steve looking at some type of book with dustin.

"harrington, your girlfriend is here and she does not look too happy so i'd go see her like, now," robin said.

"____ is here?" dustin asked for steve.

robin nodded. "yeah."

steve pushed open the door as his eyes landed on you. "____?"

you grabbed his hand, pulling him out past the store and into a nearby store.

"when the hell were you going to tell me about your little side gig with nancy?"

steve laughed. "my what?"

you crossed your arms over your chest. "steve."

he sighed, running his hand through his hair.

"okay, yeah, we dated. but it was only for two years and she drunkenly broke up with me anyways."

you searched his eyes with yours, trying to see if he was hiding anything else. you couldn't find anything.

"why didn't you tell me about her?" you asked him, still looking into his eyes. he shrugged, nervously running his hand through his hair again.

"i don't know, i just didn't think that it mattered," he said, truthfully. you let out a sigh, looking off to the side and biting the inside of your cheek.

"next time, just tell me something. even if you think against it, tell me," you told him, standing up on your tiptoes and planting a soft kiss to his cheek before stepping back with a smile.

"oh, and steve?"

he nodded. "yeah?"

"ahoy!"
