Long nights were filled with nightmares from the night you felt like you lost all your innocence after the incident at Hawkin's Lab.

You tossed and turned in your sheets, fear holding onto you tightly and you just accepted it. You let it take control of you.

Tonight was harder and gorier than the rest, jolting you from your sleep without a question about what happened in the dream. All of it was about your boyfriend dying, about him being taken away by that creature.

You quickly turned on your night table lamp, grabbing your phone and dialing in the number that was to Dustin's house. It rang twice before Dustin picked up the phone, his sleepy voice singing through the receiver.

"Hello?" He asked, groggily.

You stayed silent for a little bit, sitting with your knees against your chest. He had to ask again and again before you finally got enough air to speak up.

"Dusty." You said, sniffing. That woke him up completely. He wasn't one to let you just cry and get away with it easily. He knew what all had happened that night.

"I'm coming over right now." He said before hanging up. You held the phone to your ear to hear the buzz before setting it down and leaning against the back of your bed.

You sighed, waiting for Dustin show up to your house.

-
A few minutes later, you heard the window slipping open and Dustin climbed into your room. You looked over at him, tears pooling in your eyes.

He noticed, quickly rushing over to you. "___, love." He said, pulling you into his arms as you inhaled shakily.

"It was worse than the last time." You told him. He nodded, holding onto you tightly.

"You're not going to go through this alone, ___. You're not because I'm your hero."

You sniffled a little.

"I've been holding out for a hero."

-
short again, sorry.
