Alvin and the Chipmunks: Look Brittany, Our Kids Are Growing Up!

Part 1 - Alvin, Can You Pick The Kids Up From School Today?

(A/N: Hi everyone, just going to let you know a few things before you start reading this Book
This book is set in the present day of my Alvin and the Chipmunks storyline so that means this book happens after 'Alvin and the Chipmunks meet the Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles' book. Also, I have made all the characters a few years older now too since that book too. The Chipmunks and Chipettes are all in there mid 20's now and Alvin and Brittany's kids are 8 years old too)

Friday, 3rd of November, 2:45pm, At Alvin and Brittany's house
Alvin was at home now since he had finished work early today and was just watching TV
Alvin liked Friday's the most because he finished work at 1pm instead of 4pm
"Friday's are the best! Am so happy I finish early on a Friday so I get a slightly longer weekend" Alvin thought to himself
Alvin was watching TV in piece, until the house phone started ringing
Alvin shook turned his head and stood up
He picked up the phone and answered it
"Hello?" Answered Alvin
"Hi Alvin, it's only me Brittany....unfortunately I have to work a little later tonight as I had a meeting at work after dinner" explained Brittany
"That's a shame, sorry to hear that dear....what time will you be finishing then?" Asked Alvin
"I won't be home till 5:30pm so will you pick the kids up from school today Alvin?" Asked Brittany
"Yea sure I will pick up the kids, thanks for phoning and letting me know what is happening with work too" replied Alvin in a happy voice
"No problem Alvin, I had to let you know....otherwise the kids would be waiting in school till late" replied Brittany with a giggle
Alvin gave a small laugh back "I do say some silly things sometimes" called Alvin
"Anyway got to go, see you later" said Brittany
"Bye Brittany, love you" finished Alvin putting the phone down
Alvin turned off the TV and left the living room
He put the alarm on, locked up the house and started walking down the street towards school
At school, 2:50pm, In The Classroom
Musharna Coco Emma Peter and Lucas were all in the same lesson and classroom at school. They were all doing maths questions
While Emma and three others were finding them quite easy, the other kids in the class wasn't
"Oh, how do you get the answer to 63+45?" Coco asked Musharna
"I'm not sure...I know 60 and 40 makes 100 but don't know how to add them numbers up now they don't end in zero" replied Musharna
"We should ask our super smart sister Emma" suggested Coco
Musharna nodded and called her sister
"Emma, can you help us out with this question please?" Asked Musharna
Emma turned around and looked at Musharna and Coco
"Let's have a look then" replied Emma
Emma started drawing and explaining how to do these kind of questions
"If you put 63 in your book and 45 under it, then you add the last two numbers, 3 and 5 making 8 and you add 6 and 4 making 10. Then you split the 10 by putting a zero next to the 8 and carry the 1 on, since there are no other numbers you put the 1 straight in and the answer is 108" explained Emma
"Wow" said Musharna and Coco in amazement
"You are really good at these questions" called Coco
"Thanks, now I have shown you how to do that one, have a go at the others too" said Emma with a smile
"Thanks Emma and we will try" replied Musharna
At the other side of the classroom Peter and Lucas were having problems with the questions too
"I can't do question 3, have you done it Lucas?" Asked Peter
"No I haven't, now shut up and go and bother someone else" replied Lucas
"You don't have to be annoyed at me because you can't do the questions" called Peter
"I said shut up!" Shouted Lucas
"Ok...fine" replied Peter in a sad voice
Just then, the bell rung and the lesson was over
"Ok kids, see you all on Monday" called Mr Marsh
The kids packed there bags and left the classroom
Coco asked her sisters to wait for there brothers, so the three of them waited for Peter and Lucas
Once Peter and Lucas came out of the classroom, Emma spoke up
"Hey you two, how did you find that lesson?" Asked Emma
"It was quite hard..." Replied Peter
Lucas didn't reply, he just stormed off away from the four of them
"Oh, why does he have such a bad attitude problem?" Asked Coco in a sad voice
"I don't know....it's sad that he doesn't want to be around us, but we're not all the same" replied Musharna
"Do you want me to explain how to do the questions later?" Asked Emma
"Yes please, thanks" replied Peter
The four of them then started walking towards reception
Once they got there, they found Lucas sat on a chair and waited next to him
A few minutes after 3pm, Alvin came through the door
"Hi everyone" called Alvin in a happy voice
"Dad? What are you doing here?" Asked Coco in confusion
"Is Mum at home ill?" Asked Peter in a worried voice
"No, don't worry guy's...your Mum is just working later then normal tonight, that's why I am picking you up today" explained Alvin
"Oh right, at least nothing bad has happened to her" said Emma
"Are you all ready to go?" Asked Alvin
The five of them nodded and all followed Alvin out of school
On the way home, Alvin asked them all questions about there day
"How was school today everyone" asked Alvin
"Was ok Dad, maths was hard though" replied Coco
"I helped out you and Musharna in maths through" Emma jumped in
"That's kind of you to help out your sisters Emma" said Alvin in a happy voice
"So boys, how was your day?" Asked Alvin
"Was really good today...but like our sisters, maths was hard....oh and Science, I didn't like that lesson neither" explained Peter
"Don't worry Peter, you are all still very young, I'm sure you will learn a lot more over the next few years of school" replied Alvin
"How about you Lucas?" Asked Alvin
"What?" Asked Lucas
"How was your day at school?" Asked Alvin
"Was terrible Dad! You know I hate school!" Shouted Lucas
"Ok, calm down Lucas....remember what me and your Mum told you about shouting at people" explained Alvin
"I know what you and Mum said about shouting...I just can't help it sometimes" replied Lucas
After a few more minutes of walking, they were all back home
Alvin unlocked the door and everyone went inside
Alvin went into the kitchen with the mail and had a read of that, while the kids went into the living room
"Can we all play a game now we are home?" Asked Musharna
"What like?" Asked Peter
"I don't know....cards or something..." Replied Musharna
"How about hide and seek?" Asked Emma
"Yea hide and seek sounds fun" called Coco
Lucas started laughing to himself on the sofa
"What's made you so happy?" Asked Emma with sarcasm
"You four playing hide and seek, why don't you play something on the PlayStation like normal kids" replied Lucas
"Because we are not boring like that, we like to play hide and seek instead" replied Musharna
"What's all the arguing about?" Asked Alvin coming into the living room
"Lucas thinks we are silly for wanting to play hide and seek instead of the PlayStation" explained Peter
"You can all do different things that's not a problem" called Alvin
"Have fun with your stupid game, I will talk to you all later at dinner time" said Lucas turning his attention to the PlayStation
"Don't worry you four, I'm sure me and Brittany will think of something that you can all do together" Alvin whispered to the others
With that, Alvin went back in the kitchen to make a cup of tea while Lucas played on the PlayStation and Musharna Emma Coco and Peter played hide and seek outside
