Wednesday, 8th of November, Same Day, 11:30am, At School
Everyone was now entering there third lesson Science
This was one of Emma's favourite lessons but her brothers and sisters didn't agree
"I hope this lesson goes quick, it's right boring" complained Musharna
"It's not boring, you get to do lots of different experiments" replied Emma
"Like putting a banana with universal indicator, that's fun" said Coco with sarcasm
"When does this lesson end again?" Asked Peter
"12:30" replied Emma
"I don't think I can wait that long" said Lucas
"Well you kinda have to wait here, we have a lesson in here now" replied Emma
"You don't understand I need the toilet and didn't get chance to go at break time" explained Lucas
Emma shook her head in disappointment
"Emma! Mr Marsh wants to talk to you" called Miss Hope
Emma signed and walked out of the classroom, trying to think why Mr Marsh would want to see her
She got to Mr Marsh's classroom, knocked on the door and entered
"Hi Miss Hope said you wanted to see me" called Emma
"Oh hi Emma, yes I do what to see you. I wanted to ask you about something that's all" said Mr Marsh
"Ok, what do you want to ask me?" Asked Emma
"There is a care home just down the road from school and they have asked for a couple of students to go down there and help out a few hours tonight, like work experience. Would you be interested in helping out?" Asked Mr Marsh
"Yea sure, of course I will help out" replied Emma
"Ok, so I will let the care home know your coming, you just have to be there at 5pm till 8pm" explained Mr Marsh
"That's fine with me, I won't be late. Just out of interest, why did you ask me?" Asked Emma
"Because you act very mature for your age and we need someone sensible to help out" replied Mr Marsh
Emma said "bye" to Mr Marsh and went back to her science lesson to join her brothers and sisters
Wednesday, 8th of November, Same Day, 4:45pm, At Alvin and Brittany's House
Alvin had picked up the kids from school at 3pm and was now playing on Mario Kart with Musharna, Peter and Lucas
Emma had told Alvin that she was going to the care home at 5pm tonight for some work experience too
To Emma's surprise, Alvin offered to walk her there and pick her up later
Alvin reminded the others where he was going and told them to lock the door until he got back
Within 10 minutes of walking, they both arrived at the care home
"What time am I coming back here for you? Was it 8:30?" Asked Alvin
"No, I finish here at 8pm but would like you to come about 7:55 so you get here on time" replied Emma
"Ok, I will come back here about 7:55pm and will walk home with you" called Alvin
"Thanks Dad" replied Emma
Emma then walked into the care home and went to the women on reception
"Hi, I'm here for some work experience....5pm till 8pm" explained Emma
"You must be Emma, nice to meet you. While you are here tonight, you just have to make sure everyone is ok and if they need anything getting or doing, you will help them out" explained the women
"That's ok with me" replied Emma
"By the way, there is a boy in there...he might be about your age...and he is doing work experience too" said the women
"Oh...right, thanks for telling me" said Emma
"Anyway, off you go...will see you back here at 8pm" finished the women
Emma walked through a couple of doors and found herself in a room full of old people/residents
"I hope that the boy she was talking about isn't annoying or anything...I can't do my job with idiots around" Emma thought to herself
Just then a boy came into the room and Emma sighed in disappointment
"Omg, it's Jimmy...I can't stand him...I think he fancies me but I'm totally not into him...these next few hours will be fun" Emma thought to herself
"Hi Emma, didn't know you were helping out tonight" called Jimmy
"Yea...I said I would" replied Emma
"So now your here...what do we have to do? Do we have to count them incase one of them goes missing?" Asked Jimmy
"I don't think they are planning an escape plan!" Replied Emma
"Oh right...me neither" said Jimmy
"I think we should talk to them and make sure they are ok" said Emma
Emma went over to an old lady and spoke to her
"Hello, I'm called Emma" said Emma
"Oh hello dear, I need your help...I need a poo" replied the old women
"Ok, I wil, take you to the toilet then....follow me" said Emma
"This is going to be a long few hours" Emma said to herself
