"I'm sorry, was it not a good time?" tanong ni Troy habang nagbibihis. There was a really intense interaction between the two of them but I wasn't sure what it's about since I know they were being civil about everything. Sure, matagal na silang hindi nagkita pero para saan yung walk out niya?

"It's fine, kilala mo naman yun." ngiti ko at nag ayos ng mga laruan nila Mason dahil hindi ako mapakali. Lumapit siya saakin at yumakap,

"Thank you for listening to me, just like always. You haven't changed a bit." he half smiled. It was clear that he still didn't empty his head about their relationship but now's not a good time for us to talk about it. "Una na 'ko."

"Yeah, you should come by more often." I said with sarcasm. Nakakamiss rin makipagkwentuhan dito sa kumag na 'to. I'm sure not a lot has changed since he wasn't really a menace before, talagang hindi lang siya perfect.

If there was something I would advice to people, it's that to have someone to talk to with a male perspective. That time, hindi si Justin 'yun since he was my boyfriend and sometimes I have difficulties with him that I share with Troy. Alam kong marami na ang nagsasabi na walang kwenta ang mga lalaki, but sometimes they're just misunderstood.

If we're gonna be mad at something, it should be the gender norms that was placed inside our heads when we were younger. Iyon ang ayokong malaman nila Mason at Margaux.

"Wala pa daddy?" tanong ni Mason na kakalabas lang ng kwarto dahil tinawag ko na sila para kumain. It was already dinner time but Justin's still not here. Ano ba'ng nangyari dun?

"Not yet, my love. It's just mommy today." sabi ko at tinapik yung upuan para sabihing umupo na sila. I was placing some rice and water on the table when Margaux asked me a question,

"Is he upstairs?" she was talking about Justin's unit that we visited. Bata pa sila, pero sinabi ko na noong una palang sakanila na hindi forever dito si Justin. I told them he's staying here for their birthday and would soon move up since he needs his own place.

"I don't think so, baby. Here." sabi ko at sinubuan siya pati si Mason. Puro kutsara nalang ang gamit ko madalas dahil dalawang kamay ang ginagamit ko para subuan sila. It makes it more fun for them.

"I'll miss him, mommy." sabi ni Margaux na may kanin pa sa bibig. It made me stop for a moment before responding, "Huh? What do you mean?"

"When he goes upstairs... After our birthday." sabi niya habang ngumunguya. Lumaki ang mata ni Mason at nilunok kaagad ang kinakain niya, "Our birthday!"

"Yes, it's almost your birthday. Only five more days and you're turning four." I said and held four fingers up. I said it with excitement but both of them didn't feel the same. "Oh, bakit?"

"I don't want birthday ." sabi ni Margaux na ikinagulat ko. They've been bugging me for their gifts since their third birthday. "You don't want to celebrate your birthday? Why is that?"

"I want daddy here." sagot ni Mason. Hindi ako agad nakasagot, actually, hindi ako nakasagot. I wasn't in the right mental state to give them the right answer right now so I just talked about something else. Bakit ba kasi wala pa si Justin?
