"Mommy!"

I struggled to open my eyes as I heard constant shouting from the kids. Si Justin ang unang una kong nakita. Kinusot kusot niya muna yung mata niya bago ako makita.

He smiled as soon as he saw me, "Good morning, baby."

"Good morning." I greeted him before I turned around to see the kids. Sobrang dungis na nila, umaga palang. "Ano'ng nangyari?"

"Tito Kim made us brush sauce over kebabs." sabi ni Margaux at dinemonstrate pa gamit ang kamay niya. Sumingit naman si Mason, "Tita Natalie said wake up because it's almost lunch."

Lunch time? I looked at the wall clock on our room and it's already 11! Mabilis kong kinalbit si Justin, "Huy, tanghali na pala. Padating na silang lahat nyan."

"What? We just slept." he rolled over and grabbed the blanket but I grabbed it back. Napuyat kami kagabi kasi... alam niyo na. We're living in the moment.

"Wake up. Kailangan na natin mag ready."

"Mmm, fine." upo niya na nagdadabog pa. He leaned over to give me a kiss, "Ako na mauuna. You take too long to shower."

"I miss saving water." I commented to tease him. He was scratching his hair, "What do you mean?"

"Back in the condo. When we have to save up for water bills, we used to--"

"Babe, alam mo hindi naman forever yung yaman nila Natalie eh. I mean, they have to save up for the future at some point, right?" dahan dahan niyang lapit saakin habang inaalis ko yung damit ng mga bata. "I think we should help them save up now--"

"Maligo ka na." utos ko.

"Maliligo na." he answered and started walking backwards to the bathroom.

"Ayan, fresh na." sabi ko pagkatapos kong pulbuhan yung mga bata. We're all finished dressing up already. We invited all of our friends here to have barbecue for lunch.

"Drey!" sigaw ni Cha at mabilis akong niyakap. I haven't seen her in so long... She looked very stylish and classy now. "Baklang 'to, ang tagal na kitang hindi nakikita!"

I'm glad she still acts the same.

"Are these my--- they're so big na!" lumuhod siya para matapatan sila Margaux. "Give ninang a kiss. Yung matunog. Ayun! We'll selfie and boomerang later, okay?"

"Hindi na ata nila ako kilala." she pouted. Medyo masama nga sa loob na hindi na kami nagkikita ni Cha, pero naiintindihan ko rin naman dahil may kanya kanya kaming buhay. "Anyways, poor choice of venue ha. You have some explaining to do."

"Opo, madam." I said and bowed.

Napatingin ako sa labas at nakita kong dumating si Sierra at Troy. What? Bakit sila sabay dumating? They were awkwardly distant, which means they aren't back together.

Troy stopped to talk to Justin while Sierra kept walking towards Stephanie. It was actually nice to see Kim and Stephanie talking again, without the drama. As expected, Natalie was cool about it since she is very mature now.

All is well.

"Capati!" I opened the door and waved after I saw him walk inside the gate, naka uniform pa ah. Lalapit dapat ako sakanya pero biglang sumulpot si Troy sa likod ko.
