Chapter Fifty Five

"Okay, I'll talk to you later. Merry Christmas, babe. Bye." Binubutones ko yung polo ko nang marinig ko Drey na kausap si Louie. Hearing her talking to Louie was tough at first but it's gotten to the point where I'm used to it. Ilang buwan na rin kaming ganito eh.

She saw me looking so she walked close to me to button the remaining buttons on my clothes and kissed me right after. I smiled,

"You ready?"

"I guess so." she shrugged as she gave me the A necklace. Tumalikod siya, at itinaas ang buhok para maisuot ko sakanya yung bigay kong kwintas. "Do I look pretty?"

"You always do." I replied as my hands went down to trace the curve of her waist. She wore a blue body fit dress just a little bit above the knee. I love it when she wears something that compliments her.

Binihisan na namin kanina yung kambal. They were both wearing white which is something that I'm very afraid of. Knowing how playful they are, sigurado akong madudumihan ito.

"Is lolo nice?" tanong saakin ni Margaux habang hawak ko ang kamay niya papalabas ng elevator. Dad invited us to eat at a hotel tonight since it's Christmas eve. He also insisted that we should check in and stay overnight.

"Oo naman. He's very funny and I know you and Mason will like him." sabi ko at inilagay na yung mga bag sa trunk. We only had two duffel bags and a backpack since it's only overnight but dad asked us to bring swimwear for the kids. Mukhang balak niyang makipaglaro sa mga bata bukas.

"How about lola? Is she funny too?" iyon agad ang tanong niya pagkasakay ko sa sasakyan. I started the car first before turning around to answer him,

"Yes, son, your lola is very funny sometimes when she's in a great mood but scary when mad. Just like your mom." I watched them giggle while Drey makes faces. "Sadly, she's not gonna be here today because she's needed at the hospital. Don't worry we're gonna have fun with her next time."

"But it's Christmas." comment ni Margaux. Tumingin si Mason sa ate niya, "That's okay winny, we'll meet her next time."

"What's up, little dudes? Hi ate." Sinalubong kami ni Verson sa lobby nang iwan namin sa valet yung sasakyan. Sinamaan ko lang siya ng tingin bilang pambati dahil hindi naman siya nag hello saakin. He helped us with the bags and led us to our room.

"Saan ang room niyo ni dad?" tanong ko kay Verson habang inaayos ni yung mga gamit ng mga bata. Drey toured the kids around this unnecessarily huge hotel room. The size of the room was thrice as big as the bathroom and the bathroom had a jacuzzi in the middle. It had this huge view of the trees and three large swimming pools.

"Just two rooms ahead, it's not as big as this room though." tawa niya at sinundan yung mga bata sa kwarto, "Magsi swim ba kayo bukas?"

"Yes!" sigaw nilang dalawa.

"Great, they have baby sharks at the kiddie pool." pangaasar niya na hindi ikinatuwa nila Mason at Mags. They scrunched up their foreheads and ran to Drey that already went to the living room.
