School didn't get much better then that for Yoongi, he always seemed to be getting in trouble for one thing or another. Just two days after the rock throwing incident he was called down to the office for writing in the bathroom stalls. The day after that he got in trouble for drumming on his desk, there was just no getting away from punishment. He was already forced to eat lunch away from his friends. If he didn't watch it he would have to start staying in during recess. In class Yoongi was bored, it wasn't his fault the teacher was boring. She just talked forever and never gave the kids anytime to work on anything. This left Yoongi and Jin with quite a bit of homework, the only reason it got completed was because his mom was a teacher.
The only class Yoongi remotely liked was music and they only had that once a week. The music teacher gave Yoongi extra work because of how well he did in class. He and Jin worked together to make songs all the time, the teacher gave them the opportunity to preform in front of the class a lot. Both boys enjoyed that. Music was the only class he always got an A in.
The best part of everyday by far was lunch and recess. Even if Yoongi didn't get to eat with Jin, he got to meet a really nice girl. Her name was Suran. She much like him often got in trouble because of how bored she was. During lunch they became friends, outside of that however they never talked. It was an odd dynamic but it worked.
During recess Yoongi could see the friends that weren't in his class more specifically Hobi. The boys usually played basket ball, it was the only game all of them liked. They would play on teams of three, Jungkook didn't really hang around them during school. That came as a relief for the boys, they'd probably get in loads of trouble with him around.
"Pass it here." Namjoon shouted jumping into the air. Yoongi threw his the ball and soon regretted it. He had nailed him in the nose, breaking his glasses (again), and causing a nose bleed.
"I'm so sorry, Joon." Yoongi said running over to his friend who now sat on the ground. Jimin ran to get a teacher. He asked to go in and fix the bloody nose.
"It's okay. I know you didn't do it on purpose." Namjoon reassured. When they get the go ahead from the teacher, Yoongi and Namjoon go into the school bathroom and get as much toilet paper as possible to capture the blood.
"Awe. I ruined my new shirt." He said in disappointment looking down at the light green shirt.
"Sorry, ill try and get you a new one if you want?" Yoongi suggested feeling horrible. He really felt bad for hurting his friend.
"Nah, it's okay. In all honesty it was only a matter of time."
"Yeah."
"We can go back outside, I think the bleeding stopped."
"Do you think it's broken?"
"No, I'd have black eyes if it was."
"Oh, let's go then." Yoongi said. Pulling Namjoon out of the bathroom down the hall to enjoy the last few minutes of recess.
.......
When the weekend rolled around all the boys visited the park. When Yoongi arrived Tae and Jimin we're pushing Jungkook on one of the swings. Being the youngest of the friend group they probably considered Jungkook like a little brother. They always took care of him when the others were done with him.
"Hey Yoon!" Jimin waved. He was holding tightly onto his bear while watching Taehyung push the youngest.
"Whatcha doing?"
"Waiting for someone else to show up. I wanna play hide and seek." As if on cue, Namjoon and Hoseok came down the field on their bikes. Seokjin visited a little while after, he had to finish up some chores.
"Looks like we can play now." Yoongi said with a smile looking at Jimin. Being the meanies they were the older boys forced Jungkook to be the seeker first.
"Ready or not here I come." He yelled. He almost immediately found Hobi, he was trying to climb a tree but started to fall and just ended up hanging off of a branch. Taehyung was found soon after, he was in the most obvious hiding place, the slide. Namjoon and Jin were found after fighting about having the same hiding place. They were in the ditch near the other end of the park, near the place Hoseok and Namjoon put their bikes. The last two left were Yoongi and Jimin.
Yoongi wasn't in his usual hiding place, he was on top of it. He climbed the large oak tree and waited on top for someone to find him. After about 10 minutes of looking Jungkook finally looked up. Now the last person to find was Jimin, he was almost always the last person left. Jimin was scarily good at hiding. He was small, even smaller then Jungkook, which gave him lots of hiding options. A half hour passed and the group couldn't find him anywhere, they finally gave up. When he heard those words Jimin shimmied our from underneath a lowered part of the play structure.
"How on earth did you fit under that?" Namjoon asked in disbelief. The gap was very tiny, he moved some of the gravel out of the way to get underneath.
"It wasn't that hard, I like small spaces." He tried to explain. Man that kid was weird, he was nice thought and that really all that mattered.
"Well, wanna play another round?" Hobi suggests, the others agree. Hobi started counting.
